A biblical apocalypse? Dreams

I’m in a large room. It looks like the sanctuary of a church, but there isn’t any furniture. I’m with my family and one or two other people I think. There is supposedly an apocalyptic natural disaster going to happen tonight. The ground will roll up like a dusty old rug. Trees will be ripped from the ground. The world will become dust. I begin making preparations for the storm. I don’t want to die. I look around for a place to take shelter, but a large open room isn’t a safe place. If the roof falls in I’m dead. A friend of mine shows up with his mom and another lady with blue/purple hair. She begins writing stuff down on a notepad on a refrigerator. I think my friend was trying to buy a car or a suit from her. I don’t really remember that part much. My dad tells me to go outside to do something. I open a container full of shoes and frantically look for my running shoes. I don’t find them. I put something on but I don’t remember what. I go outside and look at the sky. Its cloudy. The calm before the storm. I go inside. I’m inside my parents bedroom. There are two other people in the room with me. One of the people I was with earlier, and God. God is around 5’6” with a long white beard and hair. His hair is kinda like a short afro. His appearance could be compared to Balin from The Hobbit, but taller. We plead with him to not destroy the earth. He wishes He didn’t have to do it, but He says there is nothing He can do. I leave the room and am outside again. There is a large dust storm. Trees are being ripped from the ground and the wind is roaring. I look and there is a man running away from the building. At the time I thought he was an angel, but now I think it may have been God. Then I wake up. 

Interesting coincidence: This dream happened exactly 7 days after around 1/3 to 2/3 of my entire high school became plagued with multiple various diseases. Colds, fever, flu, strep, diarhea, and even chicken pox. Sounds like a biblical apocalypse to me.

TL;DR: The end is near and God looks like a tall dwarf from LOTR.
