So I believe it was a few weeks ago when I saw a top post on the front page of Reddit of a refrigerator in a home improvement store with a screen on it where someone had managed to get pornhub to display on the screen. I thought it was pretty hilarious.
Fast forward to just a few minutes ago, where I find myself walking around an electronics and appliance store with a friend of mine, and I come across this same model of refrigerator, which is made by Samsung. Seeing it in person puzzled me because I just couldn't entertain the idea of having a refrigerator with a touch screen the size of a small laptop.
My friend notices that it has the ability to stream Pandora internet radio which he and I both agreed that it's stupid to have a refrigerator that acts as a stereo when a smartphone that literally almost everyone has along with a portable Bluetooth speaker does the same for a fraction of the cost, not to mention actually makes goddamn sense.
Now here's where I get royally pissed off.
I notice there's a capability that this refrigerator has where when activated uses an internal camera on the door INSIDE the refrigerator so that you can look into it without opening the door.
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
HAVE WE SERIOUSLY COME TO THE POINT THAT WE ARE SO GODDAMN LAZY AS A PEOPLE THAT WE CAN'T EVEN BE BOTHERED WITH THE SIMPLE TASK OF OPENING THE FUCKING DOOR OF A REFRIGERATOR TO SEE WHAT'S INSIDE SO WE PUT A CAMERA IN THERE TO BE ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT "YES, WE DO IN FACT HAVE EGGS?!!"
God...fucking...dammit...
