When you buy a new Refrigerator - consider buying, from the parts store, an extra door shelf and freezer shelf.
You will most likely be using it for the next 10-15 years so the utility gained is worth the cost. I just did this with a new side-by-side. Well worth it. Also, If the "butter" shelf is removable, replace it with a standard shelf.
