This hypothetical scenario takes place in Virginia.
Let's say I order and pay for a pizza with pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms as a topping.
I purchase the pizza, and then go home and put it in the refrigerator. I then forget about it for 3 weeks to a month.
At this time, I find the moldy pizza and notice that there are no mushrooms on the pizza.
At this point, if I return to pizza with proof of the lack of mushrooms and a receipt proving I paid for them, are they legally obligated to compensate me for the mushrooms I did not receive?
Thanks.
