Not sure if I'm in the right place so forgive me. My roommate bought a few lbs of chicken breast a while ago, expiration on the package reads 01/04/16. It's been sitting in the refrigerator this whole time. It looks fine and all, but I told him it's probably bad and he should toss it. He insists that 'cooking it really hot will get rid of all the bad stuff.' Is he right and am I just worried for no reason?
