so, I'm thinking of starting my own cleaning service for local home owners in my area and I'm interested to know what people might expect or would ask to be cleaned in their homes and what you'd consider a fair hourly rate for the services and how long would you expect it to take per visit; 1, 2, 3 hours?
I worked for a local state municipality as a custodian for 8.5 years; cleaning offices, restrooms, cafeterias boardrooms, public parks, etc. So I have all the knowledge, training and skills to clean almost anything. Even stripping and waxing floors, so I'm not worried about the work it's self, I'm just wondering what a home owner would want from a Cleaning Service that comes to their house.
If I do the Bathrooms, Kitchen, Vacuum, Sweep/Mop, Dust, Windows and take out the trash... What else might I be expected to clean, Dishes, Oven, Refrigerator, Laundry, Litter Box, etc?
I'm just trying to get a general feel for what services people might expect and how much would you pay an hour? Any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!
