Hey guys, any help with this would be awesome. I'm assuming/hoping it's a quick fix so I'm trying to avoid the expensive housecall from a technician if possible.
My Refrigerator Model is MBR1956KES, it's a Maytag stainless steel with a bottom freezer. Some google searches say that it could be a defroster or a thermometer issue. Before today, my knowledge of appliance repair was approximately zero, but I feel like I can walked through a simple fix. I'm just afraid of making things worse at the moment.
Here are photos of the freezer and fridge for reference. I tried using a flat head screwdriver to "pop" off the back panels but it wasn't coming easy and I felt like I was going to break it.
Again, any help, tips, or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
