This is happening right now... I just came home in the middle of the night.
So I'm a undergrad student and today I decided to stay at home and take care of some duties at home I've neglected so far. My fridge looked disgusting and the little freezer inside the fridge was covered in an ice sheet at least 3 cm (1.5'') thick. I decided the best course of action was to defrost the freezer to get rid of the ice and since I'm smart I was gonna use paper towels and two big ass containers to catch the melting ice in.
This worked too slowly so I filled hot water into a plastic bag and stuffed it inside the little freezer to speed up the melting. I also had to take away one of the containers, since it was my cooking pot, which was my second big mistake. Later on I left my apartment to go to a party and get drunk.
Hours later and I come home, still tipsy and very hungry. I open my refrigerator and it is flooded. All my vegetables are swimming in this disgusting molten condensate. I filled my fridge up with paper towels and I'm gonna deal with this tomorrow morning.
tl;dr: caused flooding of my fridge by defrosting my college apartment freezer. Came home drunk from a party only to find this disaster.
