The unexplained death of my sister legaladvice

My sister was a healthy, in her late 20s, she worked out every day and didn't smoke/drink or do any hard drugs. She is by anyone's account a great person and never had any major issues or problems with anyone besides a few break-ups with boyfriends but no problems after. She had been living a mile or two from her work place "The Wedge" (a co-op hipster grocery store) with her then boyfriend, the two had been together for 5+ years and from what I could tell he was a good guy and my sister loved him. She had been working at "The Wedge" for 5+ years as well while the two were together.

My sister ate a salad that was made at her workplace during her lunch break, she then complained to a co-worker that she felt ill, she then had trouble breathing and a ambulance was called. According to the medical examiner report my family received after her death my sister had a "anaphylactic shock", basically her lungs closed up at her workplace and she couldn't breath. She passed out before the ambulance arrived, she was then taken to the hospital and put in a medically induced coma. The doctors then spent the next week trying to wake her up but couldn't, she had no brain activity and my family decided to let her off the machine (pull the plug) and she died.

According to her co-workers my sister ate a salad that was put in the break room refrigerator, the salad was on its last "sell by" date so they put it in the break room for free. My sister ingested this salad then had the complications I explained in the last paragraph (according to coworkers). For some reason my sister thought that maybe the salad had buckwheat in it (according to coworkers) and asked if that was an ingredient in the salad as she was struggling to breath. I am still confused as to why she would say this, but that is what her coworkers said. To be clear my sister has no known food allergies, however a few years ago at the same workplace she had a mild reaction to some homemade cookies a coworker brought in. These cookies contained buckwheat and my sister assumed that this caused her a mild reaction (itchy mouth) and avoided anything with buckwheat in it from that day forward. My sister is very health minded, she reads labels, and only ingests what she thinks is healthy, SHE ALWAYS READS INGREDIENT LABELS. Any ways she ingested the salad, felt unwell, and eventually could not breath within minutes of eating, the ambulance was called but sadly she perished.

After watching my sister in a coma for a week at the hospital she died, me and my father went to the store to talk to the manager, he gave us the supposed container of salad she was eating (there was nothing left in it but a bit of dressing). We looked at the label and there was NOT BUCKWHEAT in the ingredients. At this time we still had no medical examiner report, once the report was being made I and my dad talked to the medical examiner multiple times, it turns out that my sister had (according to the report) a HIGH level of buckwheat in her system. I find this incredible odd seeing as she avoided it and the supposed salad she ate did not have buckwheat listed in the ingredients. The medical examiner even went as far as to tell me something he said he shouldn't say, he said he found it highly odd and suspicious that someone who actively avoided buckwheat would have a high level of it in their system. "The Wedge" (my sisters workplace) has given me and my parents nothing more then required, they said they had security footage then said it got overwritten, they handed my dad a container of the supposed salad my sister ate and basically were like "try and sue us". They even had the audacity to tell me face to face that nothing they (The Wedge) sell contains buckwheat. They used to sell buckwheat in bulk bags, but stopped selling it after my sister died (this is second hand info). I find their conduct unbecoming, even if they have good people working there. There is no recourse for them or anyone and my sister has no justice. She ate something at work and it killed her, the business keeps operating while my parents are still grieving, it has totally destroyed them (my parents).

Any other details people want to know I will provide, I work and go to school so I will reply when I can, this is not a joke, I really have no where to turn, I have talked to police, detectives, private detectives, and lawyers but they cant help because there is no proof, there were multiple rumors I have heard from 2nd hand sources but no one has come forward. If anyone can help me I thank you, I am at a crossroad in my life, I can handle the pain but the pain my parents feel is weighing on me.
