Joy. My just-over-a-year-old refrigerator stopped cooling, but the freezer still works. I monkeyed around with it for a bit, but have decided I'll break it if I keep troubleshooting it myself (I love a good home self-repair). The saving grace is the credit card I used to purchase it adds a 1 year warranty to the 1-year warranty that came with it, so hopefully that'll cover it? (I'm skeptical of most warranty claims and haven't filed many in the past)
But the FOOD. RIP all those tasty things I probably shouldn't eat. I asked the Mr if it felt warm yesterday, and he didn't think it did. I was in a rush and he's uses the kitchen more, so I didn't pay much attention to it until my 3 am snack craving hit, and now I'm so sad because I probably shouldn't eat anything that's been sitting at room temperature in the dark for 24+ hours.
Please send me good vibes that this is actually covered by the warranty company and I'm not shelling out for a repair. I just got a new car (and payment, ugh) and this gal's poor remaining savings account needs a break!
