As the minute hand on the office clock inched closer to 12:30, Norman began to salivate at the thought of his sack lunch sitting in the office refrigerator. As usual, he waited for someone else to get up for lunch, so as to not draw any unwanted attention toward himself. Sandy from accounting left her desk and headed for the breakroom at 12:32. After she had been gone from her desk for a good seven seconds, Norman stood up and eagerly walked toward the breakroom. His eyes glistened as he looked toward the refrigerator, his stomach gurgling. He opened the refrigerator door when he realized: he had forgotten what he brought for lunch. Not wanting to take someone else's meal, he somberly walked back to his desk and continued his work.
