I want to steam my wings ALA Alton Brown, can I steam them in advance? Cooking

I want to try this method for wings tomorrow, and was wondering if I can do the first bit in advance, up to where he says place in refrigerator for an hour. Would it do any harm to refrigerate them for 15 hours or so?
