I made the unfortunate decision (in hindsight, of course) of buying a Samsung refrigerator from Snapdeal in late February. It arrived with a spectacular dent when I was away from home in a week and I tried to return it. My trials began then.
Snapdeal initially refused to take the return unless the original packing material, which was just a bunch of wooden reapers, was used to repack the refrigerator. These things have to be broken apart to install the fridge in the first place. After a fair amount of back and forth, Snapdeal refunded us the original amount.
This is when the story gets tragically hilarious. I feel like I am trapped in a Monty Python sketch. I have had 15 email conversations and 10 phone conversations with their reps now to just take the damn thing away. Every single person comes back to me saying that they have refunded me and ignores the fact that THEIR property is now collecting dust in my home.
Is there any reasonable way of getting these guys to do the right thing?
