Help eBay dropshipping? Entrepreneur

So what I've been doing is what I learned from a guy I follow on Instagram and Snapchat named Jeffrey Bunting. So what he describes he did as a teenager, and still does, is find products on Walmart or another website and list the same product on eBay and dropship it. I thought, what the hell, I could do that. So I listed three different products over a span of about a week and I'm getting a max of around 20 views and I've only recieved one offer for less than what I would have to pay. Am I listing the wrong products? I listed a tee ball bat, refrigerator water filter, and some cheap sunglasses. How can I get to where I can actually start making some money?

its been a rough summer college

where do i begin...

in march i was accepted into a very good school, one that a lot of my family has attended including both of my parents. i am the first person among my cousins who was accepted so obviously my family is very excited. my extended family all live within 15-30 minutes of this college while my immediate family lives roughly three hours away, in another state.

however, i have been dreading college for well over the past year. i think my parents knew this, because they basically had to drag me to apply to the measly three schools i applied to. but since this past march, where i found out where i was actually going to enroll to, i think i have had early depression starting.

staring at the university logo on our refrigerator or looking at any t-shirts of the school colors makes me extremely sad, basically ruining that day until i hopefully get to sleep. this summer has been filled with sleepless nights and a lack of emotions besides sadness.

then, in early june i went off with my mom to orientation. of course, all the meetings and barrage of info sucked but i really got to the point i cannot imagine myself being at the school, and in a bigger sense any college. overnight at orientation i thought to myself "i'd rather just die than go to college." NO, i am not suicidal but i did think that while there and quite frankly its scary thinking that i thought that.

i finally told my parents about how i've been feeling the past year, and we went to a counselor. it kind of helped, but it was mostly the same stuff my parents have been telling me about college. im very close with my parents so they are obviously extremely concerned. this has also led to arguments like we've never had before which is making me even sadder.

here i am now, still feeling extremely sad and discouraged. i really do think that deep down i want to be excited and be happy about school, but then i think about this school and my attitude gets so negative and sad i'm pretty much preventing any chance of that happening. i have three more weeks until i leave and im really dreading it. i wish i could take a gap year or something but i know i cant because my parents have already deposited money and paid a lot for the upcoming semester. i used to think i hated high school, now i wish i could have on more year living at home with my family and brother and not having to be so sad and depressed.

The Bottom Drawer shortscarystories

I have twins, six years old. They are fascinating to me, both as a unit – which they definitely are – and as individuals. I am proud to have watched them grow.

Sometimes, I creep down the hallway, and lean against the bathroom door at the end. This way, I can see into both of their rooms simultaneously. I love to watch their stories unfold as they play pretend. Often, I can watch for a long time without them noticing, as they are so absorbed in their innocent fantasies.

Now, as I take the last step towards the door at the end of the hallway, a floorboard creaks under my weight. I catch a glimpse of my daughter, fiddling with the bottom drawer of her dresser just before she heard the treacherous floorboard. She spins around, her chestnut hair catching the yellow light of late afternoon streaming in through her window, and slams the drawer shut.

I love my little girl, but she is a terrible sneak. If I hear the patter of quick little feet as I lay in bed during the wee hours of the morning, I’m sure to catch her waist-deep in the refrigerator, hunting fruit or the jelly jar. She has been known to steal trinkets she’s found in the prohibited corners of the house – daddy’s desk, the silverware drawer – and horde them in her dresser’s bottom drawer.

When I saw her slam that drawer shut, naturally, I thought she much have snuck some forbidden object and decided to hide it there.

“Jill!” I said.

She flinched.

“What have you got?”

“Nothing!” she says. It comes out “nuh-sing,” as she recently lost both of her front teeth.

Jill?” I insist, advancing on her. “Come on, now. You won’t be in as much trouble if you just tell the truth.”

“I am!” She insists. “Last chance, baby. Tell me the truth.”

“Nothing, Mama!” she says, “I promise! I didn’t have nothing!" nuh-sing

I lay my hand on the drawer’s handle and pull.

“See?” she says. There are couple of marbles, a bit of paper, and some crayons. Nothing that she shouldn’t have. nuh-sing

“I’m sorry, baby.”

A little later, I try again. This time, I manage to avoid the creaking floorboard.

Jill is kneeling in front of her dresser, her brother standing by her side. “Back up some, Zane” she says. “It only comes out for me. You gotta make it think that you’re not here.”

“What is it?” brother asks.

“You’ll see. Just back up some.”

My little boy takes a few deliberate steps away from the dresser. “Okay,” he whispers, “Show me.”

Jill slowly pulls the drawer open as Zane leans in.

“There!” Jill says, “See it?”

Zane trembles, as the blood drains from his cherubic face. Then, he screams.

Why is the lightbulb always on inside my refrigerator? That seems wasteful and inefficient. shittyaskscience

Refrigerators need to stay cold and lightbulbs generate heat. I have opened the door five times at different times of the day and it's always on. It seems silly and wasteful to have it on inside a closed box.

You weren't supposed to look. You weren't supposed to be here. nosleep

Deer, amazing and mysterious creatures. It is said that they are calm intelligent creatures and can be a guide for success and encouragement. As a spirit animal, it can help you deal with difficult situations gracefully and efficiently. I do not know why they intrigued me. Maybe because of that mysterious and mystical side they possess. One day I was walking in my house, my house has lots of doors. It is not a mansion but it is very big for only two people.

My father and I have lived here for as long as I can remember. My mother died when I was only 5 years old. I do not know how she died, my father always evades the question. Anyways, I was walking when I saw a door I have never seen before. It was a big metal door, one of those you see in those big refrigerators at restaurants. I was curious as to what was inside, I swear I have never seen it before. I decided to open the door. Once I managed to open it I saw nothingness. It was so dark in there it was impossible. There were no windows or nothing I could detect with my eyes, except for a very faint light on the distance. It was very small I almost couldn't see it. But it was impossible though, the house was only so big. I tried looking for a light switch but of course there was none. I built up enough courage to step in. It felt like I went through an invisible force, like I wasn't supposed to be there. The room changed as well, it looked like a small room now.

When my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I was paralyzed with fear. The whole room was covered in blood. The floor, the walls, the ceiling and now my shoes. I was horrified when in the corner of my eye I saw someone or something staring right at me. I didn't want to look I was too scared but I did it, I looked. I screamed as I saw a deer's face looking right at me. That wasn't why I was scared though; I was scared because it was only it's face looking right at me. It had no body it was just the head hanging from the ceiling. Behind the deer was a pool of blood on the floor with piles of deer bodies without their heads. Somewhere hanging and others didn't have their body complete. I started to panic, I wanted to run to get out of there but my legs wouldn't function.

"This was a serious situation" I said to myself. This is in my home for how long? I didn't want to think about it. When I feel like I’m going to pass out I saw something glow next to the bodies of deer. It was a deer but I could see through it. It looked at me and even though it's mouth didn't move it told me that they have been suffering. Their souls were trapped in this room and that they needed my help to free them. I was confused, why would someone want to kill deer? All those thoughts stop when suddenly I hear something. Someone was getting close to the door. The room felt like it was getting cold and darker. I saw that same little light I saw when I opened the door. I started to run towards it as fast as I could, hoping it was an exit.

Panic overwhelmed me as it seemed like I was not reaching it. I was scared for my life, scared that I would end up like all those deer. After what seemed an eternity I reached the light; it was a single light bulb hanging above a white door. Finally, I will be able to get out of here and forget this ever happened. It was all a dream I bet if I opened this door I would wake up. Yeah that was the answer it is just a dream. A loud screech from behind me took me off my thoughts and I didn't think twice to open the door in front of me and close it immediately.

Somebody started slamming on the door. My dad was on the other side screaming: "Let me in, let me in" I let him in the door and he immediately closed it and ask me to help him keep the door closed. As soon as we closed it, it started banging on the door. It was trying to get in. It was going to slit our throats and take our heads. I looked around the room for an exit. There was only a small window; we wouldn't be able to fit. We were going to die in this small closet like room. I started to cry, I was panicking but my dad looked calm like he has dealt with this before. I looked at him perplexed and asked him what in the hell was that thing outside the door. He didn't answer he just kept looking at the door.

"Dad answer me!" I demanded. He looked at me and said: "You weren't supposed to see that. You weren't supposed to be here." His voice sounded different like it wasn't his own. I was so busy with being scared I didn't realize my dad didn't look like my dad at all. He looked thinner and pale. It wasn't him, it looked like him but it wasn't him. I slowly started moving away when he faced me. "My dear, why did you open the door? You weren't supposed to see. You weren't supposed to be here." He kept saying those words repeatedly. Every time he said it his voice changed slightly like it was someone else pretending. I knew this thing wasn't my father, it just couldn't be.

What comes next, it's just a vague memory. I remember blood all over and feeling a searing pain in my head. My dad is a good man, he only wanted the best for me. Now I can see my mom every day, she was never dead she was just hiding in this room. I didn't recognize her but that head was her head and those bodies weren't deer bodies. No, they weren't they were human bodies. He was trying to find the perfect body for her so that she could join us once again. I think he is trying to find one for me too.

Model #PSH23PSRBSV GE Side-by-Side Refrigerator drawer slide rail appliancerepair

MIL cleaned refrigerator and separated the slide on the lowest drawer when she didn't know how to remove the drawer. Appears as though there were 6 upper and lower ball bearings in a plastic bracket. They are gone. Can I replace the ball bearings and rebuild the slide? If so, what size bearings? Can't find any instructions on how to replace. The replacement part (which has been changed and doesn't appear to use ball bearings) costs $118.

Lexi and Blaze: Impetus eroticliterature

Remmy and Beretta were going to be away for the week. Summer camp was just a few hours away and both boys were going to spend the week at summer camp and then a whole week and Grandma’s ranch in Colorado. Although she would miss her boys greatly, she couldn’t help but watch the clock tick off the seconds until the boys left. Lexi had the Jeep loaded with everything Remmy and Beretta would need. Clothes and shoes, pillows, various handheld game systems and the ever present MP3 player blasting through the ear buds of both the boys, she hurried her boys in their seatbelts and reversed out of the driveway.

Remmy was twelve and looked like his Daddy. Just like Blaze, Remmy had jet black hair and the crystal blue eyes Lexi loved so much. Remmy loved boxing and spent two hours a day training hard. Lexi was proud of the man he was becoming but held some reservation that Remmy was indeed like his Daddy. Lexi saw the look in his eyes when he was angry that told her he had the potential to be what she and Blaze had become. Beretta was quite the opposite. Blonde hair and the same chestnut eyes as Lexi, Beretta was her little nerd. He threw himself in to books and would rather watch The History Channel than SpongeBob. At just nine years old, he was as equally as vicious in the boxing ring as he was in the classroom. He was quiet. Reserved. Watching. Just like Lexi. The fire in his eyes told her it wouldn’t be long. He was what Lexi and Blaze had become. The animals found earlier in the year scattered around the property they owned in Oregon left little to the imagination. There was no doubt what was going on there. Beretta’s only mistake was the surgical precision with which he sliced his blade through the necks, bellies, and brains of the carcasses he left behind. She and Blaze had quietly disposed of the carcasses and Lexi simply let Beretta know that HIS mess had been cleaned up. They hadn’t talked about it since, but Lexi and Blaze would sit and talk to him when the boys got home from Grandma’s. For now though, they had arrived at Camp Warrior. Camp Warrior was on beautiful Lake Reason on the central Oregon Coast. The land was donated by Blaze’s father to a group of combat veterans to start the camp. Twenty years later, it was still going strong and showed no signs of slowing down. The kids would spend the next week on obstacle courses designed to break even the toughest of men. Close combat training that would hone their already proficient skills in hand to hand and small weapons training. Remmy was impressive with a knife and Beretta had proven himself to be aptly named. They loved spending time with the man that ran the camp, which was currently Blaze’s handler, Gato, and they both unbuckled their seat belts and bounded out of their respective doors and straight in to the arms of the big tough Gato. Lexi laughed at his quick hug to each of the boys, then an equally fast demand for both boys to stand at attention. She stepped out of the Jeep and was met by two young men awaiting the luggage for the boys. She left them to their assigned task and walked toward Gato, Remmy and Beretta. Gato caught her eye and gave her a look that clearly said “don’t embarrass those boys and I won’t have to kill you”. Lexi stopped in her tracks; shot Gato a wink that immediately turned his face a bright red, then a quick salute and Lexi started back toward the Jeep.

Back in the Jeep with the air conditioner on and the radio turned up, Lexi was going back to the home she and Blaze had built three years prior. It, like the others the couple owned, was close enough to civilization that the family could be an active part of the community yet far enough away that the neighbors couldn’t hear the screams. The main floor held a massive kitchen, dining room, living room, five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a master suite. The second floor held two offices for Lexi and Blaze and a movie theater, complete with game room, for the boys. It was a beautiful home with a beautiful view but that wasn’t why this was Lexi’s favorite house. This house held a secret. After the home was built according to the blue prints, construction began on the special room. The only entrance to the room was through a trap door in the panic room inside the master suite. Everything was completed through that door and had to be carried in and out through the house. Three years and it was finally ready. A solid concrete bunker that was forty feet wide by forty feet long had been placed under the master suite. The walls had been hand poured and were eight inches thick. Large eye hooks had been installed in the ceiling, walls, and floor. A steel cage that held a bed and a toilet stood in the room. In the corner stood a large hutch that held medical supplies. On the opposite end of the room, adjacent to the stainless steel operating table, stood the instruments she and Blaze had used in past kills. Blood stained most of them and pieces of hair and human flesh had embedded in the chains she and Blaze had used to hold each of the past kills captive. Lexi loved this room. This would be she and Blaze’s first kill in the new home. She had picked her target. Blaze would choose his before he got home this evening. The boys would be gone for two weeks. She hoped Blaze would let her keep the kills for the whole two weeks. She had plans for them each and every day. Lexi had never killed before she and Blaze were married. She knew it was a passion of his, and she wanted to be his everything. The first one seemed a million years ago and a million miles away. It had excited her then and now it drove her insane. The thought of warm blood running over her fingers made her pussy wet and the thought of Blaze covered in the blood of his victim was orgasmic.

Blaze went about his day with a bit of a problem. He was on a whole new level of excitement at the thought of finally using the special room he had built for him and Lexi and his dick stayed hard all day. Nobody understood him like Lexi and he intended to repay her unconditional love with a special kill just for her. Blaze was hopeful Lexi would allow him to keep this one for the full two weeks before he allowed Lexi alone to kill him. Blaze watched the man swing his Hummer in to the parking lot. Pretentious asshole. Blaze swung himself out of his own Ford Raptor, a gift from Lexi for his birthday the past month, threw on that winning smile and headed in the direction of his latest target. The man stuck out his hand and Blaze took it in a firm yet brief handshake. Pete Marinello, like Blaze, had grown up on the base with his family and Lexi’s. Childhood years had been spent as an inseparable threesome. If one were ever in trouble, you could bet that the other two were present and covering for the other. Pete, Blaze, and Lexi could often be found at the lake during school hours, and much of that time was spent in sexual exploration with one another. Pete had been the first to give Blaze a blow job. They were just kids and camping in the backyard when it happened, but it was something that neither would forget. It would become a cornerstone in their friendship throughout the years. Blaze wasn’t gay. Never had been. He never did more than lay there and enjoy, never returned the favor, and justified the whole thing with “it all feels the same in the dark”. Pete, on the other hand lived his life in two parts. During most of his everyday life, Pete was an everyday guy. He kissed his wife and kids goodbye in the morning and worked a nine to five to support them all. On the occasion that his wife and kids were visiting her parents in Texas or her sister in Arkansas, Pete would find a young homeless boy on the street and offer him food and a place to stay. He would take the boy home for the weekend and play with him in every way possible, shove a large sum of cash in to the boy’s hands, and put him back out on the street. He was smart enough to always travel to a different city to select his sex toy. He had started to pick up boys that were younger and younger. Pete called Blaze in the middle of the night three weeks prior, frantic, and Blaze helped him clean up that little situation. A fourteen year old. How stupid. Pete was chosen that day and for that reason. He and Lexi would make him understand what it felt like to be used and abused and then thrown away like yesterday’s garbage. Lexi would enjoy it for that reason alone, but he knew she harbored a secret resentment for Pete. One that would fuel the next two weeks. Lexi didn’t know that he knew, but he did. He couldn’t wait to see the look on her face, and then his when she told him why he was chosen. The very thought of that made his already hard cock twitch with desire for Lexi. She would have her toy soon enough.

Pete and Blaze were to meet in the parking lot of an abandoned warehouse and then Pete would ride with Blaze to see the new addition to the house. Pete assumed the normal chain of events would follow. A few drinks, a bite to eat, and then if Pete was lucky, Blaze would fall asleep in the man cave and Pete would be able to suck Blaze’s dick. He could never tell him to stop when he woke up in the middle of a blow job and Pete was going to take advantage of that. The men made small talk as Blaze turned the Raptor towards the highway and home. A short ride and they turned in to the electronic gate Blaze had installed as extra security. A few quick taps on the keypad and the gate groaned to life and swung out of the way allowing Blaze to pull his truck in to the driveway and then slammed with a clang as it shut behind them. Pete went on with his normal ass kissing behavior. “Wow Blaze”, “Unbelievable Blaze” and “I wish I had the balls to do that” littered his incessant rambling. The urge to kill was great for this one but Blaze showed restraint and ushered Pete in to the house through the door in the garage where Blaze had parked his truck. The men walked through the mud room and in to the massive kitchen. Blaze and Lexi had chosen all stainless steel appliances. The kitchen held a massive island with a black granite counter top Blaze had hand crafted and flown in from Vermont. The island also held an under-counter kegerator and soda machine and the double stainless steel sinks were centered on the island in perfect reach of the stove and refrigerator. Blaze paused long enough to pour Pete and then himself a beer before leading him through the house and in to the master suite. Pete had visited the house many times in the past three years and was excited to see the new addition. Blaze had explained in his earlier phone call that the panic room was finished and in working order. Pete couldn’t wait to see if it really worked. He had only seen that type of stuff in movies. Blaze opened what seemed at first to be a closet door and motioned Pete in to the room. Grinning like the fool he was, Pete stepped in to the panic room and looked around. “Amazing!” That was all he could muster. Blaze shot Pete his grin and started to walk towards him. He hadn’t seen anything yet. Blaze pushed by Pete, making sure to brush against Pete in just the right spot. He knew Pete wouldn’t be able to resist. He was going to have fun too. He flipped a switch and an entire wall of television screens lit up. Live video was streaming on each of them. Each connected to a different camera and showing each room as well as a 360 degree view of the outside the house. Turning around now to face Pete, Blaze started towards him. Pete was hard and it was obvious this one was going to be easy. “Here comes the coolest part my friend”, Blaze said to Pete as he pushed the panic button and the door slammed shut.

Lexi had the bitch in her sights. She couldn't wait to snag this one. Stupid whore had wanted Blaze for so long. She made it clear that all Lexi had to do was turn her back and she would make that play for Blaze. What a better way to bring the prey in without attracting attention than to offer her husband on a platter and with her blessing. A quick phone call with the offer had sent the slut running in her direction. Lexi giggled at the thought of how easy it was. They had agreed to meet at a rest area just north of Vancouver, Washington. Nobody was going to notice two women talking and then leaving the rest area together. Lexi knew enough to know this works. She and Blaze had done the very same thing a few times. Always successfully. Even when the vehicles were eventually found in the rest areas, nothing stood out to anyone. Not a single soul remembered anything special about the car or who was driving it or even when it got there. Lexi checked her makeup with a quick glance in the rearview, pasted on her best southern belle smile and hopped out of the Jeep and headed toward her prey.
Suzanne Liza Huntley, better known to her stripper friends as "Candy" had a long history of being the other woman. She loved nothing more than to snag a man that didn't belong to her. She had a sudden change of heart when a millionaire bachelor walked in to her club with quite the indecent proposal. He paid the club a little under $1000 to release her from the rest of her contract, paid the rent in the apartment she shared with her best friend for the last six months of her lease and whisked Liza off in a stretch limo. Liza (pronounced Lisa) thought her man and his money made her one of the elite. It just made her a high priced hooker in the eyes of Lexi. She didn't fool anyone else either. The white trash just oozed from every pore and no amount of money would change that. Lexi had the cure for Liza that nobody else could or would provide. A permanent solution to a very annoying problem. The world should be grateful. After the usual greetings and hugs Liza settled in to the passenger seat of the Jeep for the ride back to Lexi's house. She talked nonstop about the wedding that was just one short week away. She would marry Mr. Wonderful and his money on top of Mt. Baker in a little alcove that sat above the main parking lot at Lookout Point. Very little decorating would be needed as the spot itself provided a breathtaking backdrop. Liza dug in her Coach purse and found her cell phone. Lexi had to admit the dress was stunning but was really tired of hearing about the love of Liza's life when this trip was for her last fling with Blaze. Lexi was just about to forget the two weeks in the new room and kill the bitch right that second just so she would shut the fuck up but was able to remain calm with a smile on her face as she turned on her blinker to her driveway. Pete jumped at the sound of the heavy metal door slamming shut. He was fascinated by the whole room. He was facing the wall of television screens that held the live feed for the security cameras when Blaze slid his arms around his waist and pulled him close. Pete was instantly hard and he sighed as he leaned back against Blaze. Blaze leaned in close to Pete and kissed him on the back of his neck then whispered in his ear "you will die here Pete. You are never going home". Pete grinned and turned to face Blaze. His grin quickly went to a look of horror as Blaze stood with his favorite weapon, a Ruger 32, and a look that told Pete he wasn't playing. Blaze ordered Pete to take off his clothes and throw them at his feet. Pete did as he was told and removed his shoes and shirt. Blaze hit him hard with the butt of the pistol on the left side of his head and blood started to stream from the gash he left. "I said all of your clothes" Blaze hissed to Pete. Pete was shaking all over and removed his socks. He was bent over taking off his underwear when Blaze hit him again. "Look at me Pete." The last blow from the butt of the pistol had driven Pete to his knees and he lifted his head to look at Blaze. "Pete this is where your useless life ends. This is where Pete pays for his mistakes." Lexi and Liza entered the house the same way Blaze brought Pete in. Through the garage and in to the kitchen. Lexi put her purse and keys on the kitchen counter and asked Liza if she would like a drink. Liza asked for red wine and Lexi obliged. She gave Liza a tour of the house while they sipped wine and talked about what designer Lexi used and where the granite counter tops came from. Liza was standing in the master suite admiring the view afforded by the massive floor to ceiling windows when Lexi invited Liza in to look at the final room in the house. The panic room. Blaze wrapped his hand around Pete's throat and lifted him off the floor. Blaze had fire in his eyes and the sound of pure hatred broke through Pete's terror and confusion at the situation he found himself in when Blaze squeezed his throat harder and said "Remember the night we all went camping at Crater Lake Pete? I remember it. So does Lexi. She told you no Pete. You let her get good and drunk and then you fucked her." Pete started his pussy ass whimpering again. His voice was shaky and low, his eyes a storm of confusion and horror. "Blaze that was thirty years ago man! We were just kids. Come on man. You know I love Lexi. And you. I never meant to hurt her." Blaze's only response what a hard right hook to Pete's jaw that resulted in him folding like a lawn chair. Blaze pulled the trap door up and kicked Pete down in to the play room. He slammed the trap door shut and turned just as Lexi turned her key and opened the panic room door. Lexi quickly guided Liza through the door as Blaze started towards the pair. Blaze said nothing to Lexi as he slid his arms around Liza, grabbed her ass with both hands and shoved his tongue down her throat. It was Lexi's turn to hit the button that slammed home the solid steel door to the panic room. Liza jumped at the sound of the door slamming shut and pulled away from Blaze. Lexi stood right behind her now. She grabbed a handful of Liza's hair and jerked her backwards. "You want him and today as my gift to you, I give you my husband. Just like you, he comes with a price." Liza started to pull away from Lexi's grasp and she responded with a swift punch to the side of the face. Liza scanned the room for Blaze. He would help her. He would make this crazy bitch let go. She screamed as her eyes fell on Blaze and the image he stared at on the screen before him. Pete was starting to stir. Blood was pouring from the blows to the head Blaze had given him. "What the fuck" was all Liza could manage before Blaze spun around and landed a blow that instantly knocked her out. Lexi let her fall to the floor and kicked her pretty little head as she stepped over her and reached for Blaze. He was spotted with blood from his attack on Pete and his hair was wet with sweat. He pulled her close and she could feel his dick straining to get out of the denim that held it prisoner. She kissed him then pulled away, patted his dick through his jeans and shot him one of those wicked smiles. "Down boy. We have work to do" Lexi grabbed the still unconscious Liza by the hair and pulled her over to the trap door where Blaze was waiting. He raised the door and Lexi kicked her little toy down in to the play room. Blaze dropped down behind her and Lexi followed. Pete had tried to play hero and immediately grabbed Liza and pulled her close to him. Lexi and Blaze both laughed at the sight of a naked Pete holding the nasty little blonde that was overdressed, unconscious and dripping blood from her surgically enhanced nose. "Awwww. Look Blaze. People can change! Pete has his naked body wrapped around a woman and not a teenage homeless boy." The look of recognition and then terrified understanding crept across Pete's face. He started to cry and pulled Liza even closer to him. "You are so fucking weak," Blaze hissed at Pete, "she can't save you either." Blaze snatched Liza by the hair and pulled her out of Pete's arms. Pete pissed on himself and crawled backwards as much as he could before Blaze was on him. He pinned Pete to the floor with ease and tossed a look at Lexi "It's your pleasure my Queen." Lexi smiled and pointed to the cage. That was his girl. He was hoping for just this outcome. What happened with Liza was his choice and she was going in the cage too. Blaze stood up, jerked Pete to his feet and pushed him towards the cage he built in the corner of the play room. Pete tried to resist but there was no fighting Blaze. He was incredibly strong and well trained for moving unruly prisoners. He shoved Pete through the door and pushed him on to the bed he had brought down here for just such an event. "Don't fucking move!" Blaze turned and stepped out of the cage where Lexi waited with Liza at her feet. God, he loved that woman. He grabbed Liza by the ankle and pulled her through the door of the cage where Pete sat cowering on the bed. Lexi stepped in behind them and waited for Blaze to tell her what he wanted her to do. She loved that. He telling her what to do always made her crazy. A man that owned control in every situation but one. He always lost it with her. "I want her on the bed where do you want the little bitch boy?" "Chain him to the floor. Ass up." Lexi was going to make sure Pete thought of little other than dying and dying because he couldn't control his dick in the presence of intoxicated females and teenaged boys. Blaze told Pete to stand up and he tossed the whore on the bed. He asked Lexi to secure her and he took control of Pete. Lexi reached for the shackles Blaze installed deep in the concrete walls and hooked each wrist and then each ankle in turn, leaving Liza spread eagle and unable to break free. Lexi lifted herself off the bed and turned to see Pete face down and one leg and one arm already shackled. Blaze shot her a winning smile and motioned for her to finish the job. Pete was crying and had given up fighting. Lexi kneeled on his hand, causing him to cry out in pain as she placed the shackle around his wrist. She lifted herself from the ground and kicked Pete firmly in the side of the head as she moved to put the shackle on his ankle. As she pushed herself off the ground Blaze eased up behind her, wrapped his hand around her throat, pulled her to him and kissed her neck. He had a raging hard on and Lexi pushed her ass against it. Blaze’s hand on Lexi’s throat tightened and he pulled her closer to him. “Leave them for now. I need a shower. And you.” Pete started to cry again and as his captor guided Lexi through the doorway tears quickly gave way to panic. “N-n-n-ooo! P-p-lease don’t leave me here!” Blaze and Lexi both turned to look at him. Pete was a stuttering, shrieking, blubbering sight to behold. He was straining against the metal shackles that bound his ankles and wrists in a rather pitiful attempt at breaking free. Neither said a word as Blaze slammed home the heavy metal door to the cage leaving a now thrashing, screaming Pete and a still unconscious Liza to await their destiny. The couple moved in unison toward the hatch that afforded the only way in or out of the play room. Blaze put his hands around Lexi’s waist and lifted her through the hatch then lifted himself through the hatch and on to the panic room floor. He closed and locked the hatch door and turned to find Lexi already at the keypad and punching in the numbers that would allow the panic room door to slide open. He made it across the room just as the door slid open and he and Lexi stepped in to the master suite in tandem. Blaze stripped off his shirt and kicked off his shoes as Lexi disappeared into the bathroom and started the shower. He left a trail of discarded clothing as he made his way across the bedroom to join her. Lexi had quickly shed her clothes and as Blaze entered the bathroom, he saw her perfectly formed and wholly unclothed ass just as the shower curtain closed behind her. He stepped in to the shower and slid his arms around his wife’s waist. She had both of her hands in her hair and was allowing the hot water to run over her. She moved her arms around his neck and kissed him as he lowered his hands, smacking and then squeezing her ass. His dick was hard and pressed between them and Lexi snaked her hands down his chest and then closed them around his dick. Blaze let out a soft grunt as Lexi dropped to her knees in front of him. The hot water he had just shared with her was hers alone now and it beat down hard on her back. She kissed the tip of his cock, then two progressively lower and very light kisses down his massive shaft, finally sucking first one of his balls and then the other in to her mouth. Lexi ran her tongue slowly up his shaft and all in one motion swallowed his cock. Blaze moaned and his hands went to her head, tangling his fingers in her long wet hair. Lexi tightened and relaxed her throat and Blaze tightened his grip on her hair. She continued for far longer than Blaze should have allowed, as his cock was currently obstructing her breathing, and he pulled her head backwards and jerked himself from her throat. Lexi inhaled sharply and wrapped her lips around his now throbbing dick and sucked softly up and down the top half, increasing in speed and intensity until he was once again in her throat. He once again jerked his cock from her throat and pulled her in to a standing position. He kissed her, softly sucking her tongue and then biting her bottom lip. His hands moved up and down her sides, settling on her ample breasts. Lexi moaned and wrapped her hands around Blaze’s dick as his thumbs found her nipples. He took one nipple and then the other in his mouth, sucking softly. His fingers had hit their intended mark and were massaging her clit slowly. He increased the pace and his lips found hers. At once Blaze lifted Lexi, pushing her against the shower wall and driving deep inside her. Lexi wrapped her legs around his waist and moaned. Blaze was slowly, and a bit more forcefully each time, increasing the depth of his almost buried cock. Lexi wrapped her legs tighter around Blaze’s waist, arching her back against the wall and driving his dick all the way inside her. Lexi let out a shriek and her pussy tightened around Blaze’s dick, sending him over the edge and he exploded inside her. Once Blaze showered, he left Lexi to wash her long hair and do whatever it is women do in the shower. He dropped his towel on the floor of the massive walk-in closet he shared with his wife, chose his and Lexi’s attire for the night, then walked in to the panic room. Still naked, he sat in one of the four recliners that stood on the wall opposite the video bank, remote control in hand. He watched the monitors as Liza began to stir and Pete was again struggling against his shackles. He turned up the volume and caught the end of Liza’s terrified question, “…the fuck is this?” Pete only responded with a whispered “We are going to die.” “What the fuck? What the fuck?” Liza was starting to panic as the realization set in that she couldn’t move. She pulled against the restraints and screamed in desperation which pushed Pete over the edge and his endless diatribe of “we are going to die” became a high pitched shriek. Lexi, wrapped in a towel, joined Blaze in front of the monitors. “Put your toys away Blaze. You can play with them after dinner. We are going to be late.” “Yes Mommy.” Blaze pushed the power button on the remote, leaving him in darkness to find his way out of the room and in to the walk in closet. Lexi was naked, having dropped the towel in the hamper, and was standing in front of the full length mirrors brushing her long hair. He had a spectacular view of her perfect ass and ample breasts. He crossed the room quickly and slid his arms around her waist. He kissed her neck and pinched a nipple before smacking her on the ass. Lexi shot him an evil look through the reflection in the mirror and continued to brush her hair while Blaze took a pair of boxer briefs from his drawer. Now it was Lexi’s turn to watch him. His six foot seven inch frame carried his 285 pounds well. His neck, chest and arms were very well defined and looked as though the muscle may actually burst through the skin at any moment. He took pride in his washboard abs and an amazing ass supported by two massive legs that could just as easily pass for tree trunks. His deeply tanned skin set off his ocean blue eyes and my God, that smile! His jet black hair hung to his ass and was a tousled mess at the moment. He would braid it tonight, as he did every night, and he would spend a few extra minutes brushing his full beard. Blaze had made reservations at him and Lexi’s favorite restaurant, Nocturnal, and black tie was required, at least when you walked in the door. He slid easily in to the custom tailored tuxedo and slid on his shoes and reached for the Rolex Lexi had bought him for his 37th birthday two years prior. “You look amazing.” Blaze was staring at Lexi. Her five feet seven inches was accentuated with a skin tight black mini dress and four inch heels. Her long blonde hair was pulled away from her face with just a few small curly tendrils escaping the tightly rolled bun and the bobby pins that held it in place. The dress came to a rest high on her thighs, barely covering her ass, and plummeted almost to her belly button in the front and showed off her fabulous tits. Her makeup was light, just some lip gloss and a bit of eye liner and mascara. She wore rings on every finger, diamond dangling earrings and a locket Blaze had bought her that hung from the chain she took from their first kill together. The locket was heart shaped and, once open, held spaces for two pictures on the inside. On the left side, a seemingly innocuous picture of her and Blaze at the lake, on the right, a lock of hair. The picture was taken at the cabin where their first kill together took place and the hair was that of the victim. She wore the locket any time she and Blaze went out and he had come to expect it.
“Ready?” Lexi asked Blaze. “After you my queen.” Blaze put his hand on the small of Lexi’s back and guided her through the house and in to the garage. He followed her to the passenger side door of his Raptor, opened the door, helped Lexi inside and shut her door. She smiled at that. You know, the gentleman that her killer husband was. If they only knew. Blaze started the truck and backed from the garage, taking care to make sure the garage doors were secure. Blaze was a fan of country music and Johnny Cash come pouring through the speakers. “…to see if I still feel. I focus on the pain, the only thing that’s…” “…some sugar on me. In the name of love…” Lexi flashed her winning smile at an annoyed Blaze and sang along to the radio as he swung his Raptor from their driveway.

Passed my drugtest with substitution method opiates

Passed my drug test with someone else's pee and feelin hype af.

How I did it: night before got someone else's clean pee. Put it in refrigerator. That nighte I practiced hella test runs with an exact copy of the bottle I would be using. I would soak my mini hair gel bottle in very hott hot water. Took the thermometer and measures it at different times. Found out the bottle I used would lose about 7 degrees every 10 min with no heat warmers or anything just the bottle in my spandex. Soaked the bottle in a hot thermostat mug until I got there. Waited in my car until the temp got to 107.6. Walked in and luckily I was the only one there. Drank water for about 10 min then walked in and bam pouRed the bottle of pee in the cup. Temp was perfect. Got an amazing fuckin job. Hype as fuck

I'm a 30-year-old guy and I have two fidget spinners PointlessStories

Hear me out.

The other day I was at a bookstore and they were selling fidget spinners at the till, along with the other impulse-buy items like chocolate bars and city maps and refrigerator magnets. The queue was long and so I picked up a sample spinner and started playing with it. It was oddly satisfying. It had a nice heft to it, with a substantial metal disc in each lobe whirling around the bearings in the center. The movement was smooth and it made a soothing whirring sound. I set it down when the queue got to me and made my purchase and left. I felt a little self-conscious to have been so captivated by it.

Later that evening I met up with a couple of friends for happy hour, and I mentioned in passing that I played with one of those spinny things that all the kids these days have and that everyone over a certain age hates. One friend admitted to having nearly bought one earlier that same day, because he'd played with one at a grocery store and enjoyed it. He refused to buy it even though it was on 50% discount, because he was embarrassed to be seen buying a fidget spinner; like me, he too is a grown-ass 30-something man.

I was relieved that I wasn't alone in 1) the satisfaction of playing with a fidget spinner, and 2) the admittedly unwarranted feeling of awkwardness about it. So yesterday afternoon I was going over to this same friend's house to work on a project. I stopped at the grocery store along the way, and decided to man up and buy two discount fidget spinners. One for me and one for my friend. I got a receipt with it so that it looked like I was buying them for kids. I wasn't. But my friend and I got too caught up in our work, and I forgot to give him his fidget spinner.

I came home, took them out of their packaging, and fidget-spun with both hands all night while streaming old episodes of "Seinfeld". My hands are cramped and sore today. I feel like I did when I was a pre-teen and learned how to masturbate. I guess in a way this isn't a whole lot different.

Are there code requirements preventing a sink from being at the end of a cabinet run? HomeImprovement

Here's a picture of the kitchen in question:

http://ift.tt/2tWVVVk

The back right will be the refrigerator, the front left will be the stove/range. As you can tell, the sink base is just to the right of the fridge. All 4 base cabinets are 36"

My wife mentioned that during one of the inspections an inspector asked how much countertop space we were going to have between the fridge and the sink, but didn't mention specific requirements (by code). We hadn't decided at that point how big a sink we'd put in. Now we're there, and it appears we have essentially two choices: a 21" single sink or a set of two sinks that are about 29".

If we pick the 21" we'd have about 7.5" between the sink and the fridge, if we pick the 29" we'd have about 3".

I've been poring over the local plumbing code but see no restrictions at all, and I'm guessing the inspector was just asking and there are no requirements. I'm going to call later in the week when I have a free morning, but thought the reddit hivemind might have a (non official) answer for me in the meantime.

Does anyone know if there are typically code requirements preventing putting a sink at the end of a cabinet run? Or specific requirements for spacing?

Propane powered refrigerator and tankless water heater vandwellers

It seems like I don't see enough people taking advantage of propane powered things. There are $300 propane powered mini fridges that seem like they'd work great and really save me some solar power for other things. Anyone use these? I plan on putting a 25g propane tank on hitch mounted storage.

So I figured if I'm already going to have plenty of propane, what else can I power? I found a $60 portable tankless rv water heater on ebay, and I know nothing about them. Can I run a pump from a 7 gallon water jug and get sufficient pressure to run a shower?

I [34m] am worried my Father [60m] is incapable of caring for my Grandpa [82m] relationships

Years ago my Grandpa and Grandma divorced, she was traditional housewife while my Grandpa worked. She is now in a home with Alzheimer's and not well. Since then my Grandpa quit cleaning and eating properly, he is also a terrible hoarder. He owns an old rental property which should be condemned which he has filled that with random furniture, electronics and air conditioners that he gets off the curb. Even worse he is now showing signs of dementia.

My Dad has schizophrenia and lives with him, he has been fine as far as I know and sees a Dr each month. The problem is that my Dad has always done what my Grandpa said, the man was controlling and manipulative which is why my Grandma left so late in the marriage. My Dad is still like this though and refuses to stand up to him, even though his demands are non-sensible because of the dementia.

Last month my Grandpa was found in a town 2 hours away, he thought he was down the street from home. When the police came to the house they questioned my Dad about his dementia and what his Doctor says. My Dad said he didn't know because he doesn't "let him take him" the officer wasn't happy and laid into him pretty well about. His keys were at least taken away at that point.

The other issues I worry about are that he has been found walking in the yard with no pants and a winter coat in June and last week washed the dishes with Tide. My Dad refuses to buy food for him and drives him to Costco where he eats the samples and then buys desserts like pie and ice cream. The only food in the house is dessert and recently I learned their refrigerator broke 6 months ago. When confronted about this my Dad seems to think that his nutrition is problematic but that he buys him Ensure drinks. Some days the only food he eats his dessert while my Dad only eats fast food. My uncle recommended making him nutrition smoothies but my Dad misunderstood and started getting him McDonalds smoothies.

At this point I want to call Adult Protective Services but I'm not sure there is enough evidence of unintentional neglect and at the same time if there is, I'm not sure what they would do. Would calling APS be the right thing to do?

tl;dr My Dad has schizophrenia and has been letting my Grandpa who has dementia make decisions for himself. This has lead my hoarder Grandpa to eating nothing but desserts on some days, living in a home filled with junk, and possibly not receiving proper medical care. Is this bad enough to call Adult Protective Services? If so what would happen if I did?

VISSANI HVDR1040w 9.9 cu ft fridge not cooling temp control flashing lights. appliancerepair

I Have a Vissani 9.9 cubic foot refrigerator with the temperature control lights inside the refrigerator blinking. and it is not coming on. It has power to the unit because the temp control lights come on but don't seem to be cooling.

this started a few days ago where we noticed that the temp control lights were out but the fridge lights were fine - it also didn't seem to be making any noise/vibration. after a call I was able to unplug it for a bit and it restarted fine.

this happened 2-3 more times each time i was able to unplug and it was ok again. Finally tonight after unplugging it and restarting it the temp control lights are flashing in order first 1-2-3-4-5 and then will do a pattern with the number 1 lit and flash the number 2 and the number 4 skipping 3 and 5. i can take a vid if needed if this sounds confusing. since this new pattern i have tried unplugging and still restarted the same - with no compressor noise or vibrating otherwise.

i saw a different model fridge somewhere in my search that was accidentally put into "display mode" which caused it to light up normally but not cool. was wondering if this happened somehow? i have no experience w this type of stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated all my food is going bad rn.

before its mentioned the back isn't against the wall or blocked by anything and the doors all seal tightly - these seem to be some of the first things asked when troubleshooting.

any other questions of if you need pics of even vid let me know thanks !

Looking to amp up refrigerator water filter homeowners

I'm wondering if any of you use an in line filter in back of the fridge for water filtering. I'm pretty sure the OEM filter is garbage and would like something that fits on the 1/4" water line that offers more effective filtration.

Masks and Monsters nosleep

The other day, I decided to drive the winding road that led down to the cabin my old man built back before I was born; he had suffered a stroke a year ago and no one had been over there since. I figured I might as well clean it up a bit, make it nice again, try to bring my old man while I still had the chance.

The cabin was about an hour drive from Manitou Springs and I made it there at around 6PM. The first thing I noticed was the unsettling amount of trash surrounding it; I had heard stories about drifters setting up at abandoned or out of season cabins and hesitated, wondering if I should call the police or at least one of the other cabin owners. But none of the trash looked recent, so instead of doing either, I drove my car right up to the front door and got out.

The cabin was locked and untouched, though, thank god, I don’t think my dad could’ve handled it if it had been broken into. I breathed a sigh of relief, unlocked the front door and went inside.

It was dark; the windows were covered in patterned curtains my mom had sewn when I was a kid. There was this un-lived in feeling, this unused smell, and I quickly powered on the generator and turned on the lights.

A warm glow filled the room and any fear I felt quickly dissipated. I flicked on my phone, saw I had one bar, and texted my mom, telling her I had arrived safely and the cabin was fine and that I was probably just going to stay the night, clean up a bit, and head back in the morning. She told me to be safe and that was that.

Now, it was always tradition for my family to watch a horror flick while we were staying at the cabin and, so, for some strange reason it felt wrong to not have one on. I know, I know, who watches horror movies while staying alone at a cabin in the middle of the woods that could have drifters—or worse—nearby?

But I wasn’t scared, honest; I had grown up here, had spent many summers hiking the surrounding woods and fishing the nearby lake for trout and there was a gentle kind of nostalgia imbued in the place, it made me feel comfortable, at ease. Besides, if it came to it, I had my old man’s old rifle at the ready.

I knew there were bunch of old classic horror VHS tapes stuffed in the dresser next to the old, boxy TV. Night of the Living Dead, Nightmare on Elmstreet, The Poltergeist, The Shining, and so on. There were also a few tapes of recorded episodes of The X-Files and Goosebumps stacked on top of the TV.

I popped in The Poltergeist, popped open a beer, and packed a bowl. Outside, the sky was clear, colored blood orange by the setting sun. I cracked the window and blew smoke out while staring at the sky above. It was slowly changing from orange to deep purple.

Happily not sober, I decided to start cleaning and left the cabin to grab the supplies from the car and pick up some of the trash. As I was making my way to the car, I glanced towards the trees and saw what looked like the shadow of a man duck behind the trees. Startled, but trying not to panic, I grabbed my stuff and hurried back inside the cabin, locking the door behind me.

I paused for a moment, breathing, thinking, watching the hallucinating ghost hunter picking the skin off his face on the TV. I wondered if I should alert someone or if I was just being paranoid…maybe I didn’t see anything, maybe it was just the wind shifting the branches, creating strange shadows…I shook my head, walked over and popped the tape out without rewinding it all the way back to the beginning, put in Night of the Living Dead, and got to polishing up the kitchen area.

By the time I finished it was pretty late and I had just gotten to the part where they’re listening to the news broadcast and learn that the murder victims are being eaten by their killers. Strange shadow in the woods totally forgotten, I laughed and sat down for a few minutes watching the drama, the fear, unfold.

“Mr. Cooper is such an asshole,” I muttered to myself, taking another swig of beer, and standing up. I grabbed some of the used paper towels I had thrown on the floor and stuffed them into an almost bursting trash bag, then tied it up and set it next to the front door before slipping on my shoes.

Outside crickets chirruped and the wind whistled through the needles of the pines and a lone owl hooted. The sky was bright and magnificent and beautiful. A rounded moon hung low over the forest, gilding it silver and grey. Behind it, around it, the stars sparkled mischievously.

I rounded the house and threw the trash bag in the small storage shed. I stopped on the way back ‘round and glanced up, trying to pick out constellations I recognized from the sea of stars above me, which was harder than it sounds.

Between you and me, there were times when I wished I would witness something spooky: a quick glimpse of a large hairy humanoid, the glint of red eyes watching me from behind a tree, the call of a hunting skin walker, a UFO zooming across the sky…

As a child—and even now as an adult—I was always fascinated by the real monsters, those Lovecraftian type beasts, the leviathans beneath the surface, the old gods up beyond the stars, the cryptids wandering our world—there was something about them that made me more curious than scared. There was this yearning inside me, this desire to see something strange, unexplainable, inexplicable. I wanted to believe. I wanted to know.

What scared me—really scared me—were those monsters in masks. Humans. People who hid behind false personas, narcissists, psychopaths, killers, rapists—bad people. That was the kind of horror that truly terrified me: the kind that could actually happen.

There was a sound to the left of me, near the tree line of the forest, and I jumped. It was a meowing sound, like a cat in distress and then, behind it, fainter, the sound of a little girl crying. It sounded like someone had lost their cat and was trying to find it. I knew that there were a few other cabins in the area and wondered if a little girl had gotten lost herself looking for her lost cat.

I hesitated, thinking that it wasn’t up to me to interfere, that I should let her family find her, or, at the very least, drive over to the nearest cabin and ask about a little girl. But then I remembered what happened to Kitty Genovese and realized that I was part of the problem, that a good person, an unmasked person, would help. So, I ran back inside, grabbed my old man’s rifle and a headlamp.

The woods were quiet that night, calm, and it would’ve been a nice time for a moonlit stroll if not for the sound of the cat yowling and the girl crying. It sounded like she was mumbling something, but I couldn’t make it out. Maybe she was calling out for her cat.

I stumbled through the brush, sweeping the beam of my headlamp across and between the trees, trying to see where the sound was coming from. And then I saw it.

And it wasn’t a girl.

It wasn’t a cat.

It was a shape, large as a man, crouching in the darkness between to stumps. I stopped dead in my tracks, eyes wide, lungs bursting from not daring to breath. I lifted the rifle with shaking arms, aiming it directly at the shape. It stood up slowly, and I realized that it was a man, a man wearing a horrific ghostly mask. He laughed and lunged at me. I fired once, but he was too fast and I was too scared. He knocked the rifle from my grip and sucked punched me right in the mouth, then ripped off my headlamp throwing us into total darkness.

I staggered back, and felt something soft, warm, behind me. It was another man. He too was wearing a mask, but instead of a grinning ghost, it was a glaring demon. He was holding a shovel.

“A perfect specimen,” the one in the ghost mask said in a raspy voice.

“A suitable sacrifice,” the other agreed. Then he meowed.

The ghost laughed, then cried out, high pitched, warbling—a perfect mimicry of a little girl.

The one in the demon mask swung the shovel at me, hitting me square between the shoulders and I screamed in pain, falling to my knees. I tried to scramble up, but felt a tug near my feet and looked down, the ghost was holding them tight, while the demon pulled out a round of duct tape. I moaned, dazed and afraid and slow. I struggled for a moment, then heard the sound of my own voice screaming out.

“Help me! Help me! Oh god!”

The demon slapped me and then placed a strip of tape over my mouth. I started to hyperventilate, choking on my own spit. I rammed my head forward and felt it connect. The demon gasped, his hand shooting up to his face, releasing their grip from my arms.

“Ooo. A fighter. I like that.” The ghost laughed again, stood up, and shoved the demon aside.

I started to cry, great heaving sobs, but for a moment the fear of suffocating outweighed everything else and, arms now free, I ripped the piece of tape off, gasped for air, and screamed for help again. The ghost lifted his leg, ready to stomp down, and then, above my own sobs, I heard it; faint at first, then stronger, closer: a low rumble.

Two red eyes emerged from the darkness of the forest.

A dog—no, a wolf—huge and fast bounded out from the trees and leapt at the ghost, latching itself onto his arm. The weight of the canine threw him back and he landed on the ground with an echoing thud. He made a gurgling sound as his hands ripped at the wolf’s fur. It growled again and shook the man like a doll until his arm popped out of his socket. The ghost screamed in pain, trying to shove the wolf away. The demon was on his feet now, scrabbling around the forest floor for the shovel.

The wolf half turned, almost like it was about to leave, then lunged back at the ghost, at his throat, crunching down with force then jerking sideways, ripping out his entire trachea in the process. Blood, thick and steaming, pulsed from his neck, soaking the ground beneath him black. The man gurgled again, reaching out at the wolf who was crouched above him, eating him, before letting his arm fall, limp, dead.

Shovel now in hand, the demon came up from behind the wolf and hit it, hard, with its edge. I screamed and the wolf yelped then staggered, falling forward as its legs buckled beneath it. The demon raised the shovel again, but there was a series of pounding footsteps and a shadow flew out of the trees and tackled the demon before he could swing down.

It was another man wearing yet another mask—a gas mask. The thought that he might have been part of this and just got cold feet crossed my mind, but then I realized that couldn’t be right…where did the wolf come in? And he was wearing a suit.

He was now straddling the man in the demon mask, pinning him down, punching him repeatedly in the face with his left hand. The demon made a yelping noise and attempted to protect his head with his hands to no avail. The man in the gas mask suddenly spoke, each word punctuated by a blow straight to the face.

“Fuck. Your. God. Damn. Cult.”

He stood suddenly, leaving the demon sputtering beneath him, it sounded like he was saying something.

“Puh…ple…puh…”

The guy in the gas mask picked up the shovel and hefted it high above him.

“Please..,plea—”

He brought the shovel down and it slammed into the demon’s head, making a sickening crunch as his skull shattered. A dark, viscous liquid leaked from underneath the mask.

And then, that was it. The demon was dead. Beaten to death. Job done, the guy in the gas mask threw the shovel to the ground, walked over to the wolf, and knelt down beside it.

The last thing I remember seeing was the guy holding his hand out to the wolf, several of his fingers looked broken. The wolf sniffed it, then turned towards me, as if it suddenly realized I was watching. Its entire face was stained red with blood and it opened its mouth in a pant but I swear it was smiling—its eyes bright in the moonlight.

I lifted my head half an inch off the ground to see better and then…I fainted.

When I woke up I was back inside the cabin. The lights were still on and so was the TV. On the counter, I saw two or three more empty beer bottles than I remember and a dirty plate of an almost finished pie. Confused, I sat up and peered around noticing how incredibly spotless the cabin now was and wondered where the pie could’ve possible come from when I saw it. On the table next to the refrigerator. It should’ve scared me, really, but it didn’t. Seeing it there, innocently, neat, made me feel safe, protected.

It was a plate with half a sandwich, some chips, an uneaten slice of pie, and a large glass of water. Next to the water was the bottle of ibuprofen I had packed, just in case.

I glanced back over at the TV. It wasn’t playing Night of the Living Dead anymore, but an X-files episode…Shapes the one where they go to Montana to find a murderer and end up finding a werewolf instead.

I stood, slightly woozy, and walked over to the table. My throat was on fire and my head was pounding. The glass of water felt cool in my hand and I took several long, deep gulps almost emptying it before popping two pills into my mouth and swallowing them with the rest of the water.

In my mind, I could hear the sound of the guy’s fist hitting that demon’s face again and again and again. The sound of the mask crunching into his skin, of his nose shattering, of his skull splitting wide open. The sharp snap, snap, snap of the gas mask man’s fingers breaking.

Behind me, through the slightly cracked window, a playful draft of wind ruffled my hair and I glanced over at it; the first rays of the sun were just beginning to climb up and over the mountains waking the birds, making them sing. In the distance, carried by the wind, a lone wolf howled.

I shuddered for a moment, and then, slowly, timidly, grinned.

TIFU when my burrito almost caused my house to burn down. tifu

It was around 11 am when I had woken up from sleeping. I did my usual routine of getting up and walked to the refrigerator in the kitchen. I grabbed a frozen burrito from the freezer and I put it in the microwave. It normally takes 2 minutes for the burrito to be cooked evenly. However, I was still half asleep and I set the time for 20 minutes. I went to the adjacent room and sat on my couch. I would close my eyes for what I thought was a minute, but it turns out I fell asleep for 15. Soon the fire alarm went off and I jumped out of the couch and hurried to the kitchen. I popped open the microwave to reveal my burrito. It was like a fat chunk of coal and the plate it was on went from a clean pearl color, to a singed wheat brown. I tried to take it out but it was just too hot to grab with my bare hands. So I had to makeshift a pair of oven mitts from some hand towels that were on my table. The kitchen wreaked of burnt burrito and smoke. I don't think I'll be making any burritos any time soon.

TL;DR: Tried to cook burrito half asleep. Nearly burned down the house

Plans for my 1996 Ford E150 Conversion Van vandwellers

I'll start by saying this project will take months to finish but I'm excited and motivated. Depending on many factors I estimate spending $10k to $12k in total. There are many details like wiring, propane lines, water lines, fuses, breakers, vents, paints etc.. that I did not link to.

I've created a rough 2D layout of my 1996 E150 conversion van. The heights are not included in the image. I can just barely stand inside. The colored squares represent their actual size as I've purchased or will purchase.

I picked up the van for $1,800 with 125k miles. It needed new tires, battery, wind shield, and AC work. The paint also leaves much to be desired. The interior was disgusting but it runs well! Gutted and will reupholster the chairs/bed.

My wife and I won't be full timing but we will be on long trips often.

Power

Kitchen

Water

Insulation

  • Planning to use Polyiso or Foamular on floors, walls, and roof. Cracks filled with great stuff foam.
  • Reflectix for windows
  • Also considering some type of roof to floor air circulation
  • I still need to plan this out better though

Other Details

  • 10 gallon horizontal propane tank will be mounted under the van below the fridge and counter area. Picked it up for $180.
  • Window AC Unit 5000 BTU Vented to the side and roof as well as some type of PVC drainage pan.
  • Radio/GPS A bit of a gamble here but having android with my phones hotspot should be a win.
  • Mounted TV between stove and sliding door area - not sure exactly where or what TV yet
  • The bed is a typical conversion van bed. It is a motorized sliding/reclining bed that I can also make into seat belted seats. It "should" also be seats for 2 pop out desks as seen in the picture.
  • I may add a swivel passenger seat and mount another pop out desk on the side door.
  • Mr Heater Buddy I'm planning to make a more permanent installation to my propane tank.
  • Will have fire extinguisher and smoke/gas/CO2 detectors
  • Exterior paint, rims, running boards all TBD depending on cash

Some Additional Thoughts:

  • Is my sink too far from the water heater on the rear door?
  • Need to make sure the converter is disabled when running off the inverter. Until I see the units I'm not sure how I'll proceed. Hopefully I can add a relay.
  • No bathroom but it won't fit. Maybe I'll consider an emergency toilet.
  • Cabinets, counters, and most interior design are yet to be determined.
  • I have much to learn.

I'm sure I forgot something but I'll edit the post if I remember. Any critiques or suggestions are appreciated.

Respect Avatar Korra [The Legend of Korra] respectthreads

Spoilers for The Legend of Korra to follow.

Korra

”I’m the Avatar! You gotta deal with it!”

Appearance in Book 1 (age 17)

Appearance in Book 4 (age 21)

Introduction

Korra is the current incarnation of the Avatar, the product of a human soul bonded with Raava, the spirit of light. It is the Avatar’s duty to promote harmony between the nations of the world, and between the physical world and the Spirit World. When the Avatar dies, they reincarnate into a new body with a new personality and no memories of their past lives. Korra’s immediate predecessor was Avatar Aang.

As the Avatar, Korra is the only person who can bend (manipulate) all four elements. Starting at the end of Book 1, she can amplify her bending by going into the Avatar State, indicated by glowing eyes. (Prior to the end of Book 2, this also gives Korra the bending expertise of her past lives.) However, if she is killed in the Avatar State, she will not reincarnate, and the Avatar cycle will be broken.

Biography

Korra was born into the Southern Water Tribe, near the south pole. She had a sheltered upbringing there, watched over by her father, Chief Tonraq, and her mother, Senna. At age four, Korra could already bend three elements. She was discovered by the Order of the White Lotus, a group charged with protecting the Avatar. Under the White Lotus’s guidance, Korra trained in water-, earth-, and firebending. At age seventeen, she fled her home to visit Republic City. There, she met and befriended Mako, Bolin, and Asami, and was taught airbending by Tenzin, the son of Avatar Aang. With their help, Korra was able to resolve a non-bender uprising in Republic City. Korra went on to stop a civil war between the Water Tribes, stanch an invasion of dark spirits, take down an anarchist group (nearly dying in the process), and defeat a dictator bent on conquering the Earth Kingdom.

Personality

After being cooped up in the Southern Water Tribe most of her life, Korra is rebellious and eager to see the world. She takes pride in her position as the Avatar and is very confident in her abilities. Korra can be reckless; she won’t back down from a fight, and might even start one herself.

Through her various successes and failures, Korra learns humility and comes to rely more on her friends and allies. She also becomes more cautious and uses the Avatar State less often. Korra will not kill unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Bending

Bending is the manipulation of the four elements - water, earth, fire, and air - via physical motions. The more skilled the bender, the less they have to move to achieve a given effect. With the exception of firebending, bending cannot produce an element, only manipulate existing quantities.

Waterbending

Waterbending is used to control water in its liquid, solid, and gaseous forms. It is the most dependent of the bending arts on one’s environment, since water is not always present. It is versatile and can be used for offense, defense, and increased mobility in and above a body of water. It can also be used to heal wounds. Waterbending is slightly stronger during the night, and it’s at its strongest during a full moon. Water is Korra’s native element, but she does not usually carry water with her.

Earthbending

Earthbending allows one to manipulate rocks, dirt, and the like. It tends to be slow but powerful, and it’s ideal for blocking attacks. Certain earthbenders can control metal by bending its earthen impurities; Korra learns to metalbend in Book 3.

Firebending

Firebending is used to create and manipulate flames, which, in the Avatar universe, tend to knock things around more than burn them. It’s not very useful for defense (except against other firebenders), but it can be used to enhance one’s movements. Firebending is slightly stronger during the day than at night. Early in the series, it is Korra’s most frequently used element.

Airbending

Airbending is relatively weak offensively, but it allows the bender to increase their speed and agility. Korra learned airbending at the end of Book 1, after the other three elements.

Physical Abilities

In addition to her bending, Korra has impressive strength, durability, and agility, even by her universe’s standards. I’m fairly sure that the Avatar State does not enhance her physical attributes, but it’s not confirmed either way.

Speed and Agility

Spiritual/Energy Abilities

Korra has a number of spiritual abilities. Many of them are unique to the Avatar and require her to go into the Avatar State.

Spirit Form

Using energy from Harmonic Convergence, an event that happens once every ten thousand years, Korra was once able to project her spirit from her body as a giant. Korra was disconnected from Raava at the time, so she could only bend her native element of water.
