I've been using Kilz Oil-based primer to prep some walls for painting. Based on advice from a friend, I wrapped up the rollers in a tied garbage bag and left them in the fridge for preservation... for five days.
The smell definitely permeated all the food that was in there and now the smell is lingering--it even moved into the freezer. I'm concerned that even if I'm able to remove the smell, the fridge won't be safe to store food in. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this? Is the fridge just ruined permanently?
