Scenario 1 you have to push the person you love most off a 40 story building and watch them fall all the way. You face no repercussions for this at all and no one knows you did it. The person you kill does not know you did it (like, as they're falling, they aren't thinking about how you betrayed them).
Scenario 2 the person you love most dies of natural causes. After the funeral, you return home and have a pound of their flesh in your refrigerator. A chef comes to your house and prepares it for you. You have 12 hours to eat it all. No sauce or sides. You can't make a sandwich or anything like that. No one knows you have to do this and there are no repercussions at all.
additional info think about the person you love most in be world. It's the same person for both scenarios. They die at the same age. Basically you are choosing between whether you want to be responsible for their death or eating their flesh after they've passed.
