We have two refrigerators. One of them is heard audibly "running" - a humming noise - and when not "running" it is silent.
The other refrigerator seems to always be making a humming (fan?) noise. However, sometimes it seems to "kick on" and make a louder noise. I am wondering if this fridge defaults to always having a light hum, and that's just its default when it's not actively cooling (and then the louder noise is when it's actively cooling). Like maybe something circulating air or something? But I keep seeing things about a fridge that's "always running" being a problem reading repair...I'm just not sure if this counts or not.
Sorry for such a foolish question. I'm all new to this and just want to be sure nothing is wrong.
