The coating on my refrigerator's ice maker is peeling again. Is there a viable alternative to buying and installing a new ice maker every 3-4 years? appliancerepair

Here are the pictures: http://ift.tt/2imQRUG

This is my third ice maker in 12 years. It is the standard ice maker compatible with model numbers 626662, 2198597, 4317943, W10190965, W10122507, and WPW10190965. I've replaced this before and my current strategy is to buy a new one off Amazon when it breaks or the coating peels. Does anyone have a suggestion of something else I should do.

Is there a safe way to reapply the coating? How can I prevent the coating from peeling off? Does anyone sell these types of ice makers that have coatings that last for more than 4 years?

Thanks for any help you folks can provide.
