My family has to get rid of a lot of junk. This includes, but is not limited, to the following:
- 6 mattresses
- 2 refrigerators
- 4 tables and various chairs
- 5 boxes of books
- 3 bed frames
- various miscellaneous items
We called a junk removal service and the person estimated that we would need around 3-4 40 yard containers to get rid of all our junk. Unfortunately, even with the discount the person offered us, we had to pass on the opportunity.
What are some alternative and lost cost ways of getting rid of junk?
