Hi Reddit,
I am a Sacramento, California resident and today I received the following notice on my door:
"February 8, 2017 through April 30, 2017 The following items will be completed: insulation installed in all upper units, all new windows/patio doors for all apartments, Hot water heaters installed, 181 AC units replaced, 263 refrigerators will be replaced, Solar installed on each building, Light fixtures Management needs your full cooperation in order to complete this project by the end of April 2017. This notice will serve as your one and only notice to enter your apartment. Please make sure you will have your animals kenneled or have an adult home to tend to them."
Here's the thing - I really don't want to keep my dog in a crated for 9-10 hrs a day for 3 months straight. I did not agree to any of these renovations (not sure if that matters). Shouldn't they have to give me a heads up each time they enter my premise, not just one notice for the entire three month span?
*Key detail to note: I am on a month to month lease and I do not want to get kicked out before I find a new place to be.
Please help!
Thank you,
