I just bought this house and there is simply a copper line coming from the floor. Needless to say, it's all bent and even broke off at one point halfway down it when I simply went to move it while pushing the refrigerator back into place.
My previous home (my first home) had a nice little shut off valve on the wall with plastic tubing coming out that fit right into the refrigerator.
What can I do to get something more like that? I can't see the beginning of the copper line since it goes into the floor. But I'm thinking it goes down to the basement where all the other water stuff is.
