15 year old refrigerator, compressor making noise, running hot. Probably not worth repairing, yeah? HomeImprovement

I tried posting at /r/appliancerepair but there's not much going over there. http://ift.tt/2bocT18

Compressor is getting loud at times, I'm guessing it's on its way out. (Probably should have kept the coils cleaner, but it is 15 years old, so failure seems not overly premature). I'm assuming that it's better overall to get a new efficient model than to pay someone to replace the compressor.

Thoughts? Just buy the cheapest, highest rated, energy star fridge at Lowe's? Cheaper to buy now while there's a sale on, or will they drop the price later? (Fridge is still working for now)
