okay so most of the rotom forms are pretty good in their own way, but i have a list of things i'd add to the rotom forms upon transformation. keep in mind that when i did this i didn't have competitive value in mind, but rather just logical steps.
the first one is rotom-fan. rotom-fan is my personal favorite. it already has a very good move in air slash, but i think that whirlwind, defog, and gust also fit perfectly with the fan theme, and perhaps give it air lock.
next is rotom-frost. i also love rotom-frost, but it has bothered me for a while that it doesn't have access to a better ice move. i think freeze dry and icy wind would fit perfectly. also, i know rotom's movepool is bad, but it needs to have refrigerate. it's a goddamn refrigerator.
next is rotom-heat. rotom-heat is already pretty good both competitively and logically with overheat, but how about heat wave and incinerate? real life ovens do those things. and for the ability i chose flash fire because it makes the most sense.
rotom-mow is also really good with leaf storm, but it doesn't really make sense. i think that, as a lawnmower, rotom-mow should gain access to fury cutter, rototiller, steamroller, and maybe flame wheel. as for ability, it was hard to find an ability to fit a lawnmower, but i went with grass pelt.
and finally rotom-wash, everyone's favorite stally washing machine. like i said before, this isn't about competitive viability, but rotom-wash getting access to whirlpool, aqua ring, and soak with the ability water veil would be pretty cool.
as a competitive player myself, some of the changes would really be annoying, but as far as the lore of the pokemon goes, i think these would be a nice touch.
