Where to go to buy new Appliances Appliances

Hello!

I'm renovating my kitchen and looking to buy a new Stove & Refrigerator.

What is the best place to go to purchase new appliances (I'm in Ontario)? Does anyone have any preferences for retailers?

Not sure if I should go to one of the Big Box guys, or try out a more specialized retailer? I've had some friends recently buy from Canadian Appliance Source and thought I should try them out?

Looking to learn from others experiences/do's and don'ts
