OK I give up. I've tried everywhere I can think of so I'm turning to the online community for help.
My Tevas have gone missing. Long story short, I took them off, attached them to my purse, to put on some shoes that covered my toes for a volunteer stint at the local teaching kitchen. It was after work and I hadn't slept well the night before so I was wiped out when I got home. I swear I stood at the top of the stairs, took them off my purse, and put them in their usual place. I can find them no where.
Places I have already looked:
- Purse
- Gym Bag
- On top of book shelves
- Under the bed
- Under the couch
- Under the recliner
- Under the couch cushions
- Under the recliner cushions
- In the laundry
- In the garbage
- in the refrigerator
- in the freezer
- on top of the refrigerator
- In the kitchen cabinets
- behind the doors
- in the trunk of the car
- under the passenger seat
- under the driver seat
- between the seats
- in the back seat
- in the litterbox
- under the car
- in the closets
- under the tables
- under the throws
- in the yard (in case i dropped them getting out)
- I called the kitchen and they weren't there
I went from the teaching kitchen to taco bell drive thru (they don't have them either) to home.
My apartment consists of one bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
I am going to a conference and will be on my feet a LOT. I need my comfy shoes!!!!
First one to guess where they are and helps me find them wins a shinie something from their list. I am so totally out of ideas it's not funny. If no one guesses where they are, I'll pick at random someone who suggests some place I've not looked.
I leave for the conference on the 19th of May and will pick a winner when either the shoes are found or when I get back on the 23rd.
