What my diet has been looking like lately and some thoughts on diet and lifestyle... loseit

This is what my diet has been looking like lately... 200g tilapia and some shrimps (about 50g) with Himalayan pink salt. This is not what you should eat to lose weight, this is simply what I personally enjoy eating. It's all about calories. However, I find that lean meat foods (chicken, low fat fish, seafood) and fiber rich vegetables (celery, romaine lettuce, cucumber) and grain foods (oat, amaranth, quinoa, etc.) are relatively low in calories and tend to keep me full for longer than other foods, so I mostly eat that.

I'm currently around 170 lb./77 kg. and trying to lose another 5-10 lb./2-4 kg. of fat before I start putting on muscle mass again. I eat 1100-1200 calories daily, so at times it's a mental struggle, I'll admit that. I find that what's been working best for me so far is eating all of my calories for the day over a period of 6-7 hours, and then fasting the rest of the time, so 17-18 hours minus 8-9 hours of sleep. I'll usually eat most of my food during the first half of the day and keep a low (50-60) calorie snack for before I go to bed. I sleep a lot because you can't be hungry or think about eating while you're sleeping.

Some people think that it's most important to train your body, but in my experience, it's mostly about training your mind. There are many times when I walk frantically around my basement, opening the refrigerator's door back and forth and looking for low calorie snacks that I could eat to make myself feel less crappy, but I never do it, because I have a clear long-term goal in mind and I don't want to let how I feel in the moment get in the way of that. It's not even about motivation either, because motivation is short-lived and tends to come and go... It's about discipline and sheer willpower. When you're facing yourself in the mirror in the morning and there's no one else to see and it's just about you with yourself, are you happy with what you see? I know that I'm not, that's why I keep working so hard and continue to push the limits of mental fortitude in my daily life.
