I'm a occasionally pipe smoker. I like the chill out relaxing way of smoking a pipe with a aromatic tobacco. Time wise, I'm able to smoke a bowl once a week. Sometimes (mostly on vacation) two times. But I also have periods of time where I'm unable to smoke my pipe due to other things. So I'm not calling myself tobacco addicted because I don't miss anything while not smoking (even if some anti tobacco people wanted to tell me than I'm already addicted ...). The last timeout I've had from pipe smoking was 6 months lasting.
However, sometimes I still want to taste some tobacco when I don't have the time and spirit to smoke a pipe. I just like the taste and smell of it. So I discovered Snuff and really liked it. I'm taking smaller amounts here, but the taste is still there. Recently I've found out about Snus and I really wanted to try it. So I ordered some cans: General, Offroad Mint mini, Epok and a can of ONICO. While I liked the taste of the General, it blasted me away. I really got a nicotine shock! The next time I pulled Epok out of my refrigerator. Epok didn't blasted me. I felt some slightly nictone like I feel when I'm using Snuff. The same goes to the Offroad Mint mini. The nicotine dose was like I would say "the exact amount". The last one I tried was the ONICO white. Man, I liked the taste and the smell. I even forgot about it and had it left under my upper lip for an hour. Of course, no buzz here.
So, right now I'm really thinking about ordering some other flavours of ONICO as well. I know it sounds kinda stupid, but I like it. I'm not a "searching for the next buzz" type of tobacco user anyway.
Does somebody else have the same feeling about it? Are there any occasional tobacco users (Snus, Pipe, Hookah, whatever) who are having the same problem / feeling about Snus / nicotine free Snus?
