Is it true that May is the best time to buy a new refrigerator? Any haggling techniques you care to share? HomeImprovement

Our fridge needs to be replaced, though I can wait several months if need be. With Memorial day sales events taking place I started researching.

I saw a couple of sites that said new refrigerator models come out in the summer, so May is the best month to purchase. Do you know this to be the case?

Combined with that knowledge, Memorial Day, end of month quotas is this the triple whammy I'm looking for?
