I buy organic spinach (I have health issues and have to stay away from pesticides and I also require a lot of greens) and it comes in plastic clip-shut containers. I store them in the crisper drawer in the refrigerator, but they still end up slimy and malodorous within just two to three days. I would like to get more life out of my greens as I have to throw away half of the package before it spoils. Thank you for your time /r/frugal!
