What is the meaning of life? To live forever badphilosophy

Breaking into Heaven: What if I told you the entire history of the world was of brothers and sisters fighting over a giant rock? What if I told you every answer to life’s biggest questions are already here? What if I told you I could explain all of the problems in America? To understand the history of the planet and universe all you need is common sense. It's all a series of common sense in ten thousand year increments. There's nothing radical about what I'm going to say. It's all common sense. So what’s the big picture? No one knows what started creation. The “Big Bang” is what started infinite expansion in the observable universe. Some theorize a “Big Crunch” exists at some point where the expansion reverses course and everything ceases to exist. What do we know about the existing universe? There are parameters. Human beings operate in 3 spatial dimensions (length, width, and height) and 1 temporal dimension (time). This is why we say our existence is in the “space-time continuum”, as time only moves forward. I like to think of the concept of existence as a computer program, and “God” as the programmer because it makes everything easier to understand. With computer coding languages you are given functions to use, but you can write the code any way you would like. It’s similar to a story. The content doesn’t matter; it just has to have a start and work by the end. It’s an analogy for existence and society. Our tangible parameters are physics, chemistry, and biology. Our intangible parameter is time, as we can only sense it though memory but can’t physically see it. Human beings have managed to defy physics (we went to the moon and created architecture), we defied biology (genetically modified crops and figured out how to use antibiotics), and we defied chemistry (nuclear reactors and processed foods). The only thing we haven’t figured out how to control is time. Why? Because it is the only parameter that is constantly changing according to Einstein’s theory of relativity. It only moves in one direction, so inevitably, we age and die right? Wrong. Think about it. Sea turtles live to be 200 years old. Trees can live to be thousands of years old. Mushrooms can be as big as entire cities with their underground root systems. In fact, our genetic code has been reported to resemble computer code. That is not a coincidence. I read in a book called Survival of the Sickest that we are programmed to die. It’s how evolution works. Think of human beings as iPhones. The iPhone 1 was light years behind the iPhone 7 in almost every way. Now why has it taken billions of years for us to get here? Because we are the species that evolution finally got right. What sets us apart from every other animal on the planet? Insight. We have the ability to analyze a situation and determine a course of action. We understand the actions of animals, other people, and the actions of others that died before we were born. No animal before us could do that. Other animals rely purely on instincts for survival, while we only use it as a default for when we are in danger. No other animal had the mental capacity to figure out why the world existed and functioned as it did. We can. The dinosaurs went extinct because they couldn’t prevent an asteroid from hitting the Earth. What else did dinosaurs prove? Religion and science were both right, because the Earth looked incredibly different thousands of years ago. Something created life, but we don’t know what or how. In fact, I can explain religion using science. Why can’t we be the species to figure out why we die? I think we are already the one that did. We can’t make time stop, but we can reprogram our own biology to cope with the unchanging parameter of time. How did we get stuck in this perpetual time trap? Well one way is because our tax dollars are about to be spent kicking out law abiding citizens because people don’t want to understand Islam or Hispanic cultures. Think about how many more constructive uses we could be spending our time and energy. It takes surfing Wikipedia for 5 minutes to figure out that everything Trump has said during his campaign is machismo, lies, and fear mongering if you look hard enough. I’ll explain that later. What do we know about ourselves? How do I view the human brain? We are organic artificial intelligence. Close your eyes. What do you see? It might be my optic nerve playing tricks on me, but I see ones and zeroes. Welcome to the Matrix. Does it change anything? No. I still need to eat. I still need to breath. I still feel. What does this mean? Humans are empirically good AND bad. It’s why we have free will. We are designed with moral parameters (for some reason I was led to believe it had something to do with the Ten Commandments). Don’t believe me? We are punished for doing the wrong thing because we have regret. Most people lose sleep over things they did wrong. When we help others it makes us feel good. We know what it’s like to be helped, and we can see that people appreciate help. It’s called empathy. At least speaking from personal experience, my memory fixates more on the bad times than the good times. I’m not good at remembering things I enjoy. Doesn’t mean I wasn’t ever happy. We fixate on our mistakes for a reason. It’s in our programming to. What’s the purpose of our emotions? They point us in the right direction. If you feel sad, you probably did something wrong. If you feel happy, you probably did something right. Like I said. Common sense. Count your blemishes, because they’re all gone. The only thing making you less than you can be is yourself. You don’t know who you are. You’re probably 99% of the way there, but that last 1% is what is keeping your life from being perfect. What keeps us confused is not understanding the universe and our place in it. I want to explain it. We like certain music because we feel like we relate to it on a subconscious level. Our subconscious is far more powerful that you realize. What I tried doing is watching all of my favorite movies and favorite songs and imagined they were prophetic of me existing. When I imagined every song was about me, it all made sense somehow. What constitutes popular music on the radio? It’s all extremely vague, relatable dialogue for the biggest audience that they can attract. It’s how big record labels make money. It’s why I like indie music. I listen to the weirdest music ever and no one can relate to it. I never realized I was drawn to it because I felt like it related to my life. Why was Nirvana popular in the 90’s when they tried so hard not to be? Why did Cage the Elephant have a surprise hit with “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked”? Because people heard the message. Why is Katy Perry so popular now? She writes empowering songs about women. It’s not very hard to understand. Why are the Beatles a cultural icon? For the same reason as Bob Marley and Elvis. They wrote songs about love. That’s the most relatable thing that exists. Love. Unity. Understanding. We sing about our own problems and don’t even know it. Human culture is largely created from suffering. Think about it. Turn on any “happy song” and really listen to the lyrics. The history of the modern age is in music. We have so few real problems left. I want to address what those last problems are to complain about. We are the first species on the history of the planet that can live in symbiosis together. We are smart enough to be able to work together. The food chain of plants and other animals were a symbiotic system as well, but the other animals weren’t smart enough to be able to understand why they did what they did, they just acted. One person alone can’t get very far, but an entire collective of humans put men on the moon. When we applied ourselves we invented refrigerators, microwaves, and even managed to power our homes from the sun’s energy. Ask most people alive in the 1950’s and they would have told you that satellites were science fiction. They are the reason we can use our cell phones all over the world. It’s insane not to try things. What’s the worst that could happen? It doesn’t work. Everyone knows the story about how many tries it took Edison to get the light bulb right. Why not try to live forever? Why are we not focusing on the only thing that really matters, which is staying alive and making it easier to stay alive? Well the answer is corporate greed and our failed government but I’ll get there. For now, this is the future of biology, but what is the present? What do all people need? Food, water, shelter, and I would argue companionship and the Internet. Humans are a social species. Studies have shown that social species, such as monkeys, that live their lives in isolation are mentally and physically crippled from lack of interaction. We need the Internet because it’s the largest source of information available in the world. The more information you know, the more mental connections you can make, which allows you to have better abstract thoughts, and allows you to do more. Humans don’t need very much to survive, because we aren’t very complicated. I’m not saying that we should all live with the bare minimum, I’m trying to say that we are wasteful and don’t use resources at any level close to what our intellect allows us to. Most of us don’t think, we act. It’s what we were taught to do in a patriarchal society. I used the same 7-11 extra-large cup for water my entire freshman year of college and washed it a handful of times. Is that kind of gross? Sure, but no one else was using it. What’s going to get it dirty? The air? Why do we take a shower instead of a bath? So we save water and time. Why did I write any of this down? Because I found out the solution to world peace is empathy. It’s not even complicated. If you can explain all of your actions to others you have trust established. Transparency. The only thing keeping us together is the thing that is falling apart. Trust. Belief in each other to do the right thing. Well I just explained that almost all of us are genetically engineered to do the right thing. Who can’t? Psychopaths. They have low empathy. The only danger to society is people who don’t have empathy. All serial killers profile this way. You know you don’t want to die, so what rational person kills another human being? One acting only in self-defense. What are my political beliefs? I am a believer in the Green Party and Pirate Party. Yes, the Pirate Party really exists, look it up. It’s a direct democracy where every citizen participates in government and the government has full transparency. You might say that sounds like science fiction. Well guess what? Almost everyone in the great nation of America has access to the internet. I don’t understand why we even vote in schools anymore. Probably to keep us from having access to information when we vote. The government exists to serve its people. Why would they have anything to hide if their job is to help us? Because they aren’t acting in all of our best interests. I will talk about this later. The enemy isn’t America or even the government. But the government is full of corrupt politicians who have sold out to corporations. Again, this is nothing we didn’t already know. What do you have to fear if you understand everything? Nothing. Because fear is irrational. Fear is paranoia caused by False Evidence Appearing Real. It’s animal and human nature to fear what we don’t understand. Animals fear us because they can’t tell if we are trying to help them. Most of us don’t fear doctors because we know they are trying to help us. The only thing any of us really want out of life is love and acceptance. Not money, not status. That's the answer. That's always been the answer. It doesn't matter what you believe as long as you get along with others and just accept them. If you don't agree with their lifestyle when it has no impact on your life; just don't do what they're doing. No one is forcing you to take part. Don't force your beliefs on others, because everything in life is just personal preference. You live your own life for a reason. I’m not trying to change anyone’s lifestyle choices; do whatever you want. I don’t care. I’m trying to tear down a giant wall of lies. No one knows why we are here. So why do we fight infinitely about something no one has the solution to instead of just enjoying the fact that we are here now? Social liberalism isn’t about being a dirty hippie and growing a beard, it’s about acceptance of people you don’t understand and living together in spite of that. I don’t understand a lot of things, but it’s all on the Internet, so what excuses do we have for being ignorant anymore? What is the current state of our society? I see the world as the Tower of Babel. We drew lines in the dirt so we couldn’t see each other. We created languages so we couldn’t understand each other. We created customs that we didn’t understand. All because a bunch of brothers and sisters didn’t know how to share a giant rock floating in space. Don’t take this to mean diversity is bad, because it’s actually the best thing for us. In fact, geneticists have proven that the healthiest dogs are actually mutts, because they have the greatest genetic diversity and resistance to diseases. It’s no secret that pure breeding dogs is causing harmful genetic disorders. Humans are the same as other animal species in most facets except for our intellect. Evolution can scientifically explain why racism is an insane concept. Why are polar bears white? It was an adaptation to living in the arctic circle. Having light fur helps light reach their skin while keeping them warm (their skin is actually black as it absorbs all frequencies of light easily). It is not a coincidence that people living in Scandinavia and Russia happen to have light features. In fact, blue eyes have been found to be advantageous for seeing in the dark. Doesn’t it make sense that people living in a dark and cold climate would have adapted similar to that of a polar bear? People with dark skin get sunburnt with greater difficulty. When white people get sunburnt, they tan. It’s their body producing more melanin to protect their skin from UV light damage. African people likely adapted to the typically sunny and hot climate they lived in, and began to produce far higher levels of melanin genetically to prevent sunburn. Survival of the Sickest also points out that Asiatic/Eskimo eyes are likely the result of an adaptation to the reflection of light off of snow. It should not be considered racist to discuss facts about names or physical features. Again, the fact that we don’t understand each other is the reason we think races are superior to one another when we are the same people. The history of Earth should be called the Clone Wars. On another note, men were typically the hunters while women were typically the providers. Wouldn’t it make sense that men are typically more impulsive and instinctual, while women had to be craftier and more intuitive? Typically, higher rates of intuition and creativity leads to greater intelligence… Maybe women are smarter, but men have had power because of their natural aggression? Just a theory. This one isn’t based on fact. But I have always been fairly sure the source of all my pride was my biggest weakness. I’m a man. How harmful are perpetuated stereotypes? Well perception is reality. A study was done to test African American students taking standardized tests. The group that didn’t have to bubble in their own race scored higher. Stereotypes are so harmful on a subconscious level that it made people score lower on a test just for writing down their own race. That’s an embarrassment to our society. Somehow someone shot Martin Luther King Jr. Is it really a surprise that we have race riots in the U.S.? No. History has shown that peaceful protests get people shot, so why are they encouraged to protest peacefully? I’m not supporting riots. I’m against them. But I’m for Colin Kaepernick. You have to understand everything is open to interpretation. When most of us look at the American flag we see freedom and justice. But you have to understand that when African Americans look at the flag a lot of them see their own oppression that has been going on since we colonized North America (and still exists today). Both interpretations are correct. The flag is a lot like art work. You have to accept that it can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people. It’s our civic right to burn it. Colin Kaepernick isn’t burning the flag. He’s angry because he’s seen the past, and the present where people are still tormented for peaceful protesting. Look around at schools, at colleges, in the work place. Ask yourself, is it segregated? You’re probably going to say, “of course not.” Think about it. It’s the things that we don’t notice. People of the same culture typically stick together. That’s not a bad thing, but it’s reality. Most white people don’t go to see Tyler Perry movies because most white people don’t understand them. Most culture is created through hardship. Slaves sang songs to cope with slavery and working in the fields. In relation to that what's wrong with society? The only thing that has run our great nation into the ground is apathy and lack of understanding. Before I say anything, PLEASE keep this in mind. Patience is strength. Anger is weakness. I’m about to show you that the government and corporate greed has turned all of our lives into a joke. Do not be mad. Learn from the Oliver Cromwell Revolution in England. The best revenge isn’t to overthrow the government, but to make them do what they were appointed to. They represent us. They are our minions. They have no power unless we say they do. They spent a century creating laws to destroy our lives, so we must uphold the law to destroy theirs. They will fix all of our problems because it is what they signed up for. Donald Trump getting elected was actually amazing. It gave us the people, all of the power in the world over the world’s worst man. Donald Trump is a pathetic excuse for a human being who manipulated Americans into electing him into office using fear and irrational logic (I will explain later). Well, now it’s his job to fix all of our problems. Isn’t that fitting? I would first like to explain the psychology of Donald Trump: The least powerful man in the nation. If you read between the lines, it isn’t hard to understand what he is. I’m going to show what his rhetoric shows him to be: Psychopath (low empathy -> “your neighbors and our citizens need to leave even though they are law abiding citizens”), Megalomania (someone obsessed with their own power “You’re fired”), Egomania (excessive ego “I have all of the answers”). We just elected a very dangerous and unstable man as the least powerful man in America. That was a smart move. He can’t do anything unless we say he can. We avoided disaster there. What is an ideal government? One that serves the people. It sounds something like the Pirate Party. We know what the government is doing at all times and we benefit from it together in an ideal society. That sounds like socialism. What countries already use a socialist system? Canada, Norway, Finland, etc. Scandinavian countries are typically rated the happiest in the world. I wonder why? What do they protest in Canada? That college tuition costs $3,000 a semester. My tuition costs $40,000 and I’d probably get tear gassed for protesting getting manipulated by institutions of “higher learning”. Our economy doesn’t want you do get an education. Our economy only wants rich kids to get a good education. We know this. Punish people with less. Give to those were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. It’s the same concept with the “war on drugs”. It’s institutional racism. People have to turn to selling drugs because the economy failed them. When they get arrested they can’t provide for their children and the cycle continues. It is the same thing with health care. Socialist countries have universal health care. Our country economically believes that only rich people should be able to stay alive. They don’t have to say it. I will for them. I had to have a conversation with my dad once because he was contemplating suicide because of the financial drain of living with mantle cell lymphoma. There are people that have 3 yachts, and 4 sports cars, and a giant house and I am going to have to take out student loans and lose my dad because they are greedy. What are taxes designed to do? To help the people. You give a little, you get a lot. It’s why we have free public schools. Taxes. It’s why we have national parks. Taxes. It’s why we have clean drinking water and air. Taxes. Wouldn’t it be nice if a small handful of people gave little bit more to help out people with less? No, they would rather spend their time pulling the strings at the top of the government to keep us like this. The only reason fiscal conservatism exists is because we doubt our financial future. Because our economy has failed us. We all know this. Why is socialism better than capitalism? You still have wealth. Go to Canada and look for yourself. It’s not very different except the government actually helps most of its citizens like its designed to. Having less money ensures you are less wasteful. You put more thought into buying things and discourages you from spending money on things you don’t need. Why would 1 person need 10 cars? They don’t. Why does one person need 3 houses? They don’t. Many of us stay with friends when we travel. Think about the lies of this world. They are destroying my life and your life. The entire purpose of society is to play a role. We are all a giant collective. Being a doctor and a fast food worker are both roles that exist to help society. The reward for being a doctor or an engineering is that your job is more versatile. Doctors have a new challenge with patients every single day. Engineers have new problems inventing every single day. You do the same thing every day working fast food, so that’s punishment enough. The incentive is there without money. Humans don’t like doing the same thing over and over again. Economics is a façade. You can spend money any way you want. It’s why socialist economies exist. Here are some examples: Why do the oil and paper industries still exist? The answer is because they do. It’s the sunk cost fallacy. The system is already established even though it is antiquated and useless. They have a lot of money and power and don’t want to give it up even though it is hurting all of us. We can learn everything on computers now. We have electric cars widely available. It’s all corporations in the pockets of the government. Also, if you check the Department of Energy for how much of our power is ALREADY alternative, it is around 25%. In Iceland it is almost 100%. When I visited Iceland I found that everyone has lights on constantly in celebration of how little their electricity costs. It’s all geothermal powered. Why do we buy diamond rings for weddings? A man in England in the 1800’s decided to make diamonds appear more scarce than they actually were and devised a scam that still exists today. What says “I love you” more in capitalist society than spending a crazy amount of money on a useless rock? Couldn’t you do something more creative than that…? Couldn’t you write a song? Couldn’t you make a movie? Couldn’t you make a ring yourself if it actually mattered that much? Why do brides wear white during weddings? Queen Victoria once wore a white dress and the tradition continued. Don’t trust tradition. Question it. Monkey see monkey do is real. We’ve been doing it our whole lives. We live in a consumer culture. Mindlessly buying things we don’t need and want. How has the government failed us and where do we go from here? Just watch movies. That’s all I did. Watch Nightcrawler to see how the media manipulates us with fear. Watch Capitalism: A Love Story to see that big agriculture and big oil controls the government. It is all a façade. It is all the illusion of choice. Why can you change stations and hear the same music on two stations? Because all radio stations are owned by one company. Clear Channel. These facts aren’t hiding from you. Look it up. The media is mind control just like Adolf Hitler used with propaganda. It’s giving you the illusion of conflicting ideologies when neither actually do anything. Let me explain it in simple terms: The Democrats and Republicans have failed this country for way too long. Now it's their job to work together and fix it. The government is a giant bureaucracy for the most part. A giant facade. The Republicans play the role of the "bad guy", the Democrats play the role of the "good guy". Red for blood and conquest, blue for cooler heads prevail. Elephant for appealing to nostalgia (because the elephant never forgets), and the donkey represents the whipping boy for the crimes of the tyranny the Elephant perpetrates. Remember that these clowns in office doesn't rule us. We rule them. We rule the country. Serve the servants for how long? They are our servants. They do what we say. They are legally bound to. One person at the top has no power if we give them none. Don’t believe me? Let me give you a history lesson that isn’t hiding. One they didn’t teach us in school. It’s called Operation Northwoods. Republicans proposed to commit a terrorist attack on Miami (bombing planes) to fake a Cuban attack and provoke a war. The Kennedy Administration vetoed it because they had a conscience. Doesn’t that sound a lot like 9/11? Tell the government to release all of the information they have about it. If they aren’t hiding anything why won’t they let us see it? Our Republican government is already on record proposing a terrorist plot on our own citizens. Our elected officials don’t care about you. Or me. Or anyone but themselves. Donald Trump is the epitome of that. What can we do about this? We have the power to write our Congressman, our Representatives, our President. Demand justice for all Americans. I don’t like Hillary Clinton, don’t get me wrong, but I dislike Trump more because he ran a campaign SAYING his goal is NOT to help all Americans. It is his job as President to help everyone. That is what he signed up for. That’s what all of them signed up for. To help all of us. The 99% vs. the 1% wasn’t a slogan. It is real. Why are there radical Islamists? Another history lesson. Look up the 1953 Iranian coup d'état. The United States and Britain (Republicans/Eisenhower) overthrew an Iranian DEMOCRACY and instituted a DICTATORSHIP because the government wouldn’t comply with our proposal for oil trade. This is real life. This is our government. Take from others to make our lives easier. It’s not a surprise that extremists have developed. We attacked first. They are no longer rational because we haven’t been rational with them. If you look at the actual teachings of Islam, they are not supposed to attack unless they are attacked first. They were. I’m not saying we should listen to ISIS because they are insane. I am explaining how we got here. What about the endless conflict in the Middle East? It’s actually very simple. What to both sides want? Jerusalem. Israel is in control by irrational Zionist leaders. Similar to Donald Trump, their rhetoric says that “if you don’t want to join our culture leave”. Let’s compare Judaism and Islam. Shalom in Hebrew means hello, good bye, and PEACE. Salaam in Arabic means hello, good bye, and PEACE. They are both Abrahamic religions that that prophets descending from the same man. Moses and Muhammed were related. Yom Kippur and Ramadan are the holiest holidays of both religions. You are supposed to fast to honor the suffering of ancestors. The war in the Middle East is two brothers fighting over their home instead of sharing it. It’s all elementary school problems. The entire world is filled with elementary school problems. It’s just filled with so much jargon and garbage that you don’t know when to listen. The only reason we haven’t solved the endless war in the Middle East is probably because we have vested interest in oil and defense contracting. We are manipulating Israel into killing people for money. We are manipulating Israel to kill people for oil. So we don’t have to do it ourselves. I am Jewish. I don’t like that. Look at our government spending. We waste so much money on defense contracting because our government has caused so many problems in the world. We profit from war on a daily basis. Our biggest business is murder. This isn’t your fault or mine. It’s corporations and the government. DEMAND that we know what they are doing. Why are there so many Hispanic immigrants entering the U.S.? Another history lesson that isn’t hiding from you. Another Republican government overthrew a democracy and instituted a dictatorship in the 1954 Guatemalan coup d'état. We wanted cheap fruit that we easily could have grown in Hawaii, Florida, or California. Corporate greed and our failed government caused civil unrest on an entire continent FOR FRUIT WE DIDN’T NEED. We also exploit cheap labor in China in sweatshops. Everyone knows this. It’s how Walmart is able to produce cheap products. It’s all a façade of abuse and tyranny. How can you show the parallels between Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler? It isn’t hard. What was the actual cause of the bankruptcy of Germany? It was the Allies harsh sanctions against the Axis. They didn’t show mercy and asked for too much money in reparations which destroyed the German economy. If you do not show mercy, you create a bigger monster. By winning World War 1 the ALLIES created Hitler. Not the Jews. You have to be able to forgive or nothing ever improves. Learn from history. If we don’t forget about the past, we can’t move forward. Hitler used the media to say a PACIFIST religion was responsible for the economic decline of Germany. Islam is also a PACIFIST religion. Do not fight unless you are in danger. See through Trump’s lies. I just told you what caused mass immigration of foreign nationals into the U.S. Corporations and the government destroyed their homeland and we are going to KICK THEM OUT for trying to get help? That is insanity. Find the source of the problem. Don’t assume anything is complicated. Nothing is if you look hard enough. Do you realize many people in capitalist society have so much money they physically can’t spend it in their lifetime? What is the use of that? There is none. We’re being led in circles by corporate greed. They have created a culture of blind compliance and herded us like sheeple through training us to be apathetic towards the thing that matters most in our lives: the government. Laws control our lives. If you don’t pay attention to them other people are controlling your life. Laws dictate how our time, energy, and money is spent. Choose wisely. “If you don’t turn onto politics, politics will turn on you.” -Ralph Nader World peace isn’t hard to achieve. No one is trying to do it. I can explain Jesus using science: Let’s pretend that “God” is a computer programmer. Let’s say “Jesus” was his son. He built his son a toy to play with, but his son had cheat codes for that game. All Jesus wanted to do was help people, but you can’t break the laws of the game or people start to freak out. Was the story of Jesus true? Maybe. I don’t know. But the fact that we still talk about a man that walked on water and turned water into wine says that it really freaked some people out. Maybe Jesus was the equivalent to Neo in the Matrix. The only way I can rationalize the situation is that God put his son into the Matrix to help humanity and accelerate its growth. This theory exists in the show “Rick and Morty” in an episode about the existence of a “miniverse”. People started to get scared and killed the man with all the answers. The thing is, when you die in the Matrix, if you have seen the movie, you die in real life. My theory is that God was so angry that he told everyone that his son was coming back, so that they would wait around for help that was never coming (as the ultimate punishment for killing the man that only tried to help). The actual plan was to punish humanity by letting them take 2000 years to figure out that they had to solve all of their problems THEMSELF. We were given a shot to turn life on “easy mode”. After we killed him, it got turned onto “hard mode” and stayed there. That’s just my opinion. The irony of all of this is that the only thing that has ever torn the world apart is greed. Everyone knows the story of Adam and the apple. It’s the oldest story in the world and no one listens to it. The only thing anyone ever wanted was equality, fairness, and justice. It’s why most humans choose monogamy. 1 man for 1 woman. Fairness. In fact, if you actually look at the story of Jesus, he profiles as a SOCIALIST. He DIED trying to HELP people that weren’t even grateful for it at the time. That’s the definition of socialism. Help others to help yourself. It’s how the world could work. It’s how the world should work. You can make selfishness a positive. I want friends, so I will help a lot of people and then they will like me. If they don’t, oh well, that’s life. But chances are, if you help people they will like you. It just makes sense. Bonus fact: Jesus is known as “Isa” in Islamic culture, and a prophet. What does the future look like? I think the future looks like solving the energy crisis. What area of the world is always sunny? Deserts. Create cooling systems to turn the world’s deserts into massive solar fields. That doesn’t sound plausible right? When Kennedy started the space program it cost $0.50 a week in tax dollars (adjusted for inflation the price of a pack of cigarettes every week for a year). That is why he is on the half dollar. It cost THAT LITTLE to establish our entire space program. What could we accomplish with smart reallocation of money? Flying cars? Magnetic powered elevators? Even Asgardia exists. It’s a proposal for a space nation. This isn’t science fiction. It’s real life. It’s not the secrets of the government that’s keep you in the dark, it’s apathy. It’s not looking ahead. I can see the future. It looks like Louie Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”. It looks like Star Trek. That IS reality whether you choose to accept it or not is not up to me. The potential of the United States of America is unlimited. We just have to apply ourselves. The answers are all here. Go find them. What is our reality? If this reality is a video game, what is the name? The name of the game is POWER. It needs to be TOGETHER. Have a short memory when it comes to the past and focus on making the future better. Our time on Earth is limited for a variety of factors whether we die or not. A “young” star is a blue star because of chemical composition. An “old” star is a red star because of chemical composition. Our star is very old and very red. When stars age too much, they turn into supernovas and explode. This has the potential to destroy entire galaxies. It takes 2 minutes of research to realize your life is in the hands of a ticking time bomb in the sky. What else is real? Global warming. The ideal gas law tells us that increasing the volume of a gas in a closed system raises the temperature of the closed system. The Earth is a closed system. This gas is not escaping our atmosphere. We are increasing carbon emissions every single day while we kill plants that remove the emissions from our atmosphere. Look at the temperatures of the planet over the past 20 years worldwide. This isn’t a coincidence. It’s basic chemistry. Scientists who have spent their entire lives studying climate change unanimously agree that it is real. The Great Barrier reef just died. There is a continent of floating trash in the Pacific Ocean. There are algae blooms in the Gulf of Mexico so big that the ocean is physically unlivable there from lack of oxygen in the water. I worked on an organic farm for an entire summer in mostly 90-degree heat to grow food. I know how hard it is to put food on your table without destroying the environment in the process. I think everyone should have to farm in their lives, because doing it makes you appreciate the food you eat so much more than you could possibly imagine. I just quit majoring in environmental engineering. It's the equivalent to being a janitor for the globe. Why should I take care of people that are going to make my life an impossible challenge and don’t understand the consequences of their actions? When you see how little people care on a daily basis it makes it really hard to get out of bed in the morning, so I stopped doing it. If you don’t respect the planet, you don’t respect yourself or anyone that you know because it’s our home. And for now it’s the only home that we have. The only thing alien on Earth is people who care about the future. It's called foresight. "This isn't working, so we should try something that does." You shouldn't burn something to the ground if you don't have a better thing to build. The first step is finding what doesn't work, the second step is peacefully finding one that does. Imagine a world where we spent less time arguing over nothing and more time planning how to fix the world? The good news is that the Earth had a lifespan anyways so it was inevitably going to be destroyed. The bad news is we are accelerating our own death by how our society exists today. What does Superman look like? It looks like 7 billion people coming together to do what’s right. The world isn’t going to magically be lifted up by one human. It’s a massive effort. Learn. Understand. Come Together. Outro: Watch the music video for “11th Dimension” by Julian Casablancas. Then “You Only Live Once” by the Strokes. Then “Don’t Look Back in Anger” by Oasis.
