I have a bottom pullout freezer with a top single door silver refrigerator made by whirlpool. Recently, after a five month stint of nothing working, a technician replaced the electric board that controls the settings. He also confirmed that the cooling system in its entirety is working fine, which is why he replaced the bad board.
Since then, I have confirmed that the freezer is working correctly. I can open the freezer and feel the fan blowing cold air. The defrosting system is working correctly. When I took apart the back of the cold freezer there was no ice/frost built up anywhere. The access points that blow air into the refrigerator are not blocked by anything. Yet when they hear the freezer evaporator fan running you cannot feel any air coming into the into the refrigerator from the bottom. The refrigerator stays at a warm 61 degrees no matter what setting I place it.
All my research of my specific conditions say to check that fan and see if ice is building up.
Please help. What else can this be?
