Hi everyone, I've been looking for information on google and can't seem to find any on selecting fresh uni.
I recently bought a tray of fresh uni from Hokkaido from my supermarket and it kept oozing out yellow liquid but still taste as good. The date states 12th Nov 2015, which i assumed is the farmed date and is from Russia.
How come the sea urchin keep "liquifying" is it not fresh or something is wrong with my method of storing it?
I kept it in the chiller section of my refrigerator. Didnt freeze it.
