Disappearing and reappearing screw. Glitch_in_the_Matrix

I never thought I would ever have to post here, since I either don't believe most stories or i think people are just remembering things wrong. It's kinda insignificant but this is my story. My glitch happened Friday, when me and a worker were fixing a refrigerator. We were installing a new temperature control and we removed 2 screws. My coworker was on his knees in front of the fridge and i was standing behind him, looking over his shoulder. He went to put the first of 2 screws back in but he dropped it and we both watched it roll under the fridge. He was feeling around under it but couldn't find the screw. He was about to get up so we could pull the fridge out, when suddenly we heard a clink and i saw the screw bounce off of his pocket knife and on to the floor next to him. I was confused because I saw the screw go under the fridge and the other one was still sitting on the shelf. He looked up at me, just as confused and was like "did you do that?" I said no and he said "but I saw the screw go under the fridge" and i said "I know me too!..." He tried to shrug it off and keep working but he kept looking up at me, asking "if I was messing with him". I wasn't messing with him, I was just as confused as he was. We pulled out the fridge because he was positive I dropped a different screw on him on the original one would still be under there. Needless to say, there was no screw under the fridge. He still thinks I did it, somehow. I really don't know what to think about the whole thing. My brain is telling me there a logical explanation and that the screw never rolled under the fridge but my eyes saw what they saw and its not like it was just my eyes, we both saw it roll under there...

TL/DR a Co worker dropped a screw and we both watched it roll under the refrigerator. A second later, the same screw mysteriously bounced off his knife and on the floor next to him. There was no screws under the fridge, when we pulled out out.
