Norman returned home from work at the usual time of 6:05. He was feeling a bit hungry because he hadn't had time to eat lunch at work, as he was distracted by a new program that had been installed on his computer.
Norman opened his refrigerator and crouched slightly to see inside; he had trouble seeing into it while standing up straight. Norman reached for a clementine orange (which he bought while on a particularly adventurous shopping spree), but realized that it wouldn't be filling enough due to its size. He thought about taking two oranges, but realized that continuing with such eating habits wouldn't last him until the end of the week which was when he went shopping. After debating for a few minutes, Norman settled on an apple, although he preferred oranges. It was a slight disappointment, but Norman was used to that by that point.
