So I'm kicking myself quite a bit. Picked up a gorgeous, USDA prime bone-in ribeye as an end-of-week treat from the grocery store last night with the intention of cooking it tonight. Bought it around 6pm, got home, got distracted, had a change in plans, and forgot about it.
Imagine my horror to discover it (still wrapped in butcher paper and all) sitting on my kitchen counter this morning about about 7am and which time I immediately put it in the refrigerator.
I think I already know the answer, but is it at all still salvageable were I to cook it tonight?
