Stranded in Lexington, VA. Need to get back to [a city in central VA] to care for chair-bound SO. Assistance

Greyhounded to [a city in south west Virginia] today to pick up a new used car and take it back home. Should have taken about 8 hours, but after about 30 miles on the interstate it began to overheat. I pulled over to let it cool down, but now it won't start. Not sure why. Everything's legal (title, tags, insurance), and State Police say I have 24 hours to get it moved.

But that's the least of the issues. The biggest one is my SO. She is chair-bound for the most part, and very much dependent on me for most of her basic needs. She needs both hip joints and both knee joints replaced, and is in near constant pain until that happens. This means that she can't get out to the refrigerator to get food but maybe once per day.

We've been getting by with me stocking her with edibles and supplies if I need to spend any significant time out (up to 12 hours). Now I am stranded 100+ miles away.

I need a way to get back to her first and foremost. Second, I need a way to get my car towed. The only two places I have been able to find wanted between $225 and $300 just to tow it 10 miles or so - money I don't have on me. And things are closed up for the weekend around here. Still looking, but prospects are dim.

Any assistance will be appreciated. A car with a tow dolly that I could rent would be ideal.
