I think I figured out a good use for leftover cannabis from butter/oil extraction, not for everyone but let me know what you think. treedibles

Peanut Butter.

I always saved the leftovers from making butter and oil and never found a really great thing to do with them. I figured out something to do, it's definitely potent but pretty grainy and not for those who don't like the taste of cannabis.

  • Had 1 leftover ounce of weedfrom last extraction, with a good amount coconut oil in it since i'm not too crazy about getting every last drop out of the material.
  • Got the Crockpot on low and melted 16oz of Crunchy Peanut butter in it. I figured crunchy PB would help hide the texture of the weed.
  • Slowly stirred in the ounce of leftover cannabis into the PB. Let it cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. stirring occasionally. -Emptied it into a bowl, put into refrigerator to let it harden a bit.

Then you have some pretty damn potent Peanut Butter. Basically you are doing a second extraction into the PB. Admittedly it is really grainy/gritty, which is why I said it may not be for everyone. However you can play with the ratios (add more PB use more/less cannabis). I don't know if there is a way to filter the cannabis out of the PB but I am open to suggestions.

Also, in experimentation I have also just mixed PB out of the jar with the amount of weed I want to eat. I believe it was 10 grams of weed to 3-5 teaspoons of PB and mixed it together and made a PB sandwich and it worked. So the crockpot/2nd extraction is not even really needed, I just figured it couldn't hurt.

I would love to hear your suggestions to make this better and also would love to hear back on the potency if you try this with your spent weed.

P.S. Beware it makes your farts and poop smell like weed...it's the weirdest thing
