Norman Forgets to Buy Milk lifeofnorman

While shopping at his local grocery store, list in hand, Norman wondered if he had forgotten anything. He hadn't brought a pen to cross off the items he had already placed into his shopping cart, but he was quite sure he had everything on his list, and more; Norman decided to splurge a bit and tried a new variety of non-dairy creamer at the recommendation of his co-worker Lisa. "A spicy pumpkin," Norman pondered, "what will they think of next?"

Upon arriving home, Norman decided to have a snack and watch a sports game to have something to talk about on Monday. "Did you see that teamwork?" Norman might say, "That was one for the history books!" He placed four cookies on a plate, and opened the refrigerator. Norman had forgotten to buy milk. He checked his digital watch: 5:23 pm. He didn't want to stay out too late, so he decided to drive to the convenience store right by his house.

There was a sizable line when Norman entered the shop, and he thought it best to hurry in hopes of getting a good spot in the queue. "No dilly-dallying in the candy aisle today," thought Norman to himself. There were no half-gallons of milk on the cooler shelf, and Norman contemplated the inconveniences abundant in the convenience store. He took a full gallon of milk and briskly walked over to the line, and only waited four minutes thanks to his thoughtful planning.

Happy to be home, Norman poured himself a glass. The milk smelled a little off, and in fact did not taste like the milk he typically bought, but he was sure it wasn't expired and blamed it on the larger size he purchased. The expiration date on the jug wouldn't come for two more days. In front of the television set and in his house slippers, Norman felt accomplished as he sat his cool glass of milk on a coaster, and dunked a cookie into his milk. "Play ball!" Norman thought.
