We were installing a new refrigerator and I had to turn off the main water supply to the house. The valve for the water/ice maker was stuck open, which has now been replaced. When I turned the main water supply on, I forgot and just flipped it all the way open instead of slowly opening it. The pipes in the house banged. I did have all the faucets open before turning on the water again. When I checked the kitchen faucet, some rust was coming out, then block stuff, then it went clear. Ever since this happened, we have lower water pressure throughout the house. The water on the refrigerator is painfully slow. The flow at the kitchen sink is not as strong as it was.
Is there anything I can do, without calling out a plumber. We spent all our money on the refrigerator!
Thanks!
