I'm a long-time lurker and first-time poster who could use some help.
I travel weekly for work, flying out on Monday mornings and flying home on Thursday nights. My company has an expense policy that does not allow me to expense lunches while I am traveling. Although I've tried to keep my lunches fairly cheap -- between $7 and $9 in an expensive city -- I'm spending way more than I want to each week.
Does anyone have any ideas for how to minimize or eliminate spending money on lunch while traveling? Any way to keep meals good for 3-4 days without access to a refrigerator? Any way to transport pre-made meals with limited carry-on luggage space? Any advice is appreciated!
