Steven pulled into the driveway and turned off the engine of his car. He didn't immediately get out, however. Instead, he sat with his hands on the steering wheel and looked straight ahead for the moment, at the old oak tree beside the garage. He had good memories of playing beneath that tree, but it was hard to conjure them up right now. Not after what had just happened.
He walked up to the house and went inside, finding the ground floor completely dark and silent. His father would be asleep already; he went to bed early these days. He liked to joke that raising two teenagers on his own had turned him into an old man already. He'd never known his mother, and his stepsister's mother had passed away when they were both young. It had been just them and their father ever since. He didn't seem old to Steven, but to be fair, he'd injured his leg a year ago and had been walking with a cane ever since, which was why he slept in the bedroom on the ground floor of the house now.
Steven took off his shoes and walked into the kitchen. He took care to keep his steps quiet, though he didn't know why he was bothering. His father always slept soundly through the night. He got a soda from the refrigerator and took a drink, leaning back against the counter as he thought about what had happened earlier that night. He'd been out on a date with Justine, a pretty blonde cheerleader who he'd really liked. He'd been looking forward to taking things further with her, maybe even to the two of them becoming official boyfriend and girlfriend. But Justine had told him that she didn't think things were working out between them, and her grades were slipping and she needed to focus on her schoolwork. Steven didn't know if that was an excuse or not; it wasn't like Justine to lie, so he tended to believe her, but he wasn't sure.
Whether or not what she'd said was true, the fact was that he was now single again. It was a bit of a letdown, but he didn't let it trouble him too much. He'd never had much trouble with girls; he was tall, with light brown hair, and the girls he'd dated had often commented that they loved his blue eyes. He kept himself in good shape by running track at school. He'd dated several different girls over the past couple of years, and he told himself there were always other fish in the sea. Still, though, he'd liked Justine.
He sighed and finished his soda and tossed the can into the trash. Well, he had the night to himself now. He'd debated texting Brian and seeing if he wanted to hang out, but it was already a little after nine o'clock, and Brian had probably already made plans by now. In fact, he was probably out with his girlfriend. Steven sighed again. Maybe this breakup was getting him a little more down than he'd thought it would.
With a little effort, he pulled himself out of his doldrums. When he was back in school on Monday, he'd get right back to finding another girl. He'd ask out Lisa, maybe. Or Kayla. Or Brooke. There were lots of possibilities. For now, though, he'd just go up to his room and maybe read for a while.
Steven walked through the living room and went up the stairs to the second floor of the house. Once he reached the top, he heard the faint sound of talking and giggling, and even the occasional shriek. Right. He'd forgotten. His stepsister was having a slumber party tonight. It seemed like her friends were here every weekend. Still, Steven liked them well enough, even if they could be a little hard to take sometimes.
The girls were probably going to stay up late tonight. They usually did when they were over here, talking and laughing and gossiping about who knew what. Still, their bedroom doors were pretty good at muffling noise; even though his room was right across from Sam's, he'd probably only hear them a little bit. He went into his room and closed the door behind him, and he turned on the light and flopped down on his bed. He stared at the ceiling for a moment before he picked up the book beside his bed and began to read.
Hello, DPP. If you've read this far, thank you. I'm looking for a roleplay where a brother ends up hanging out with his stepsister and her friends who are having a slumber party, and things get progressively naughtier as the night goes on. I'll let you know up front that I prefer messages that are at least a few paragraphs long--no one-liners, please. I also think this would need to be a longer-term roleplay (not necessarily months, but definitely longer than a day or two), so please only message me if you're comfortable with that.
Send me a message if you're interested and we can figure out the details. Thanks for reading!
