"Why can't we return it?!" TalesFromRetail

I was at my register ringing up a customer when I overheard a customer getting mad at my boss. B-Boss
C-Customer

B- Sorry, you can't return the refrigerator if you don't have it with you right now.

C- Why can't we return it? I have the receipt, that's proof that I bought it!

B- Well, if your going to return the item, we need the item back.

C- We will just keep the non-working refrigerator then!

I never wanted to laugh so hard in my life. Remember guys, if you want to return an item, you do need to have the item with you.
