My fiancé’s coworker hunts and gave him a package of frozen venison steaks today. I’ve got them thawing in the refrigerator now. My fiancé and I happen to share a birthday (which just so happens to be Friday) and I suggested that I cook the venison for our birthday dinner. Thing is, is I’ve never cooked it before. Does anyone have any recipes for venison steaks that you can throw my way? Bonus points if it does not have mushrooms in it.
