I made some lemon-dill-garlic sauerkraut recently and put it in the refrigerator in mason jars when it was done enough with fermenting. since then i keep having to burp the jars every week because they're building up a lot of pressure. the middle of the lids are being pushed up firmly and when i open there is a big release of gas. is this normal? everything looks, smells, and tastes fine, but i didn't think fermented things needed burping once they're in the fridge. thank you!
