Completely new to the world of supplements, so apologies if this sounds completely uneducated and naive.
I've had a dairy intolerance my whole life, making eating yogurt and cheese difficult and drinking milk near impossible. I have tried other ways of supplementing it, like drinking rice milk or soy milk, but I find the tastes near unbearable, and almond milk is out of the question due to a sever nut allergy. The big problem now is, my refrigerator is broken and cannot be repaired for a good while (student, don't make a lot of money), and it is acting like a freezer. This is fine for some of my foods, but not milk or yogurt.
So, I started taking supplements for the time being. Is Calcium and D3 tablets enough to supplement what should be my daily values for milk/other forms of dairy?
