A recipe told me to boil the carrots for 3 minutes before putting them in the jars and also told me to add 1/2 tsp celery seed to the pint jar. The carrot sticks are mushy and the taste like celery. Do you guys know any good pickled carrot recipes that keep the carrots crunchy?
