I recently purchased new GE Cafe appliances. I've been noticing some strange behavior from my refrigerator, such as items freezing solid and frozen items not thawing after days. I tried turning up the temp to 38 degrees. Also decided to hook up my Kill A Watt P3 and see if there was any weirdness going on. The power factor was alarmingly low, remaining from .55-.65 at all times. I tested an older fridge and got .98-.99, which is efficient. What do you guys think is going on?
