your input on this 2008 Sprinter? vandwellers

Hey vandwellers,

I've got the opportunity to buy a DIY converted stealth Sprinter from a contact and would appreciate your advice.. I already had a look at it and took it for a test spin with no issues, the build definitely looks 'homemade' but feels solid. I feel like it's a fair deal at $23k, but would appreciate your input on the price or things to ask for like a carfax report, etc, as it's my first used vehicle purchase. Also I don't know anything about electronics and think the build was designed more to be used with hookups at RV parks, but with the setup described below just want to make sure it'll be suitable for stealth urban vandwelling. I wouldn't have many power requirements anyway besides charging up the laptop and phone and running the fridge.

It's a 2008 144" WB 2500 crew Sprinter with 70k miles (one owner) and built out with:

-a professionally installed DPF override replacement (to be able to fuel up in Mexico and southwards where ultra low sulfur diesel is hard to find) -a pair of large marine service batteries and a 3,000 watt inverter -a 4 cubic feet marine Avanti refrigerator, 12vdc/120VAC. -floor a/c unit at 8,000BTUs, operates at 120V/800Watts -fantastic vent -2" fiberglass insulation all around -full bed with plenty of storage space -kitchen galley with 15 gallon water tank and electric water heater

Thanks for any advice you can offer!
