Since i have really been craving lunch meat and a cold sandwich and I can't eat one, my sweet husband actually MADE me some Sausalito turkey from scratch. He cooked the turkey first, and shredded it up for me like lunch meat. Since it WAS actually fully cooked turkey, and I still safe to eat it after I put the slices in the refrigerator? Like to make sandwiches later in the week? Or can Listeria happen when I refrigerate it, even if it was cooked originally?
