The refrigerator, a Kenmore 71313, is coming in 2 days and is listed at 68.625in tall. My tape measure shows the current opening is 68.5in. Above the opening is a wooden cabinet w/ about .75in of lip.
My first idea is to jam it in and hope it just fits. But if physics prevails and it doesn't fit, I'm wondering what my options are for taking off 1/8 - 1/4 of an in from the lip on the bottom of the cabinet. I have a random orbital sander, rotozip, and circular saw at my disposal.
